These players would have been involved in training camps and travelling to the respective host nations to compete in these tournaments, all which could lead to more fatigue.

I would be surprised if they're not straight back in. The winter break is not that long and there was a gap between their last game with us and their first tournament game. I think with Bissouma he's not been playing, Sarr was injured so rested over that time, I imagine Son will want to play. I think when players go to these tournaments they know they're missing any winter break. However they're also missing the summer internationals players have at the Euros etc so get a longer off season.
