To be fair when was the last time we won the league title? What's the point of a football club if it's not winning honours.
Thats not the point though. They’re counting championship titles. That’s like us counting the Audi Cup.

Plus one lucky PL win doesn’t make them a better or bigger club, Liverpool havent won a PL trophy but they’re still a bigger club than Leicester.

I have no idea what’s going on here, and what the actual truth is.

One thing I know for sure is that I have no interest debating whether we’re a bigger club or not than Leicester, as I genuinely don’t give a shit

This is all pointing in one direction...

‘Welcome to Chelsea, Steven Bergwijn’

I mean, whether Chelsea or otherwise, it’s definitely a risk.

If this is PR and in reality, it’s further on, the risk is probably minimal. If it’s not, then it could turn into an auction very quickly with richer clubs involved. That scenario doesn’t end well for us.

It’s all just rather bizarre and confusing.

You’ve got PSV journos putting out stuff making Bergwijn look bad and them the victims of his treachery.

whilst youve also got the PSV manager saying he’s in London completing a move and his team mates wishing him the best.

It’s very clear that the higher ups at PSV are on damage control.

I think PSV were hoping for an action for his services in the summer - hopefully on the back of a strong showing by Bergwijn at the Euros. This has now come to naught...

Don't know how it'll end. PSV are not really known as an unreasonable club... And they'll need money after missing out on the Champions League this year
