Why do people on here ridicule someone who contracts covid 19, the effect that it has on your lungs is no joke.
Agree the human factor needs to be considered more here. No guarantee he has any symptoms or lasting effects though. As a young healthy guy he will probably be asymptomatic or have a very mild case.

If I ignore all the signs of him leaving, if he was to stay it's a real shame this is going to make a massive dent in any possible pre-season with us.

Too much smoke around this for it to not be a fire at this point.

With all that said, I wonder how he’d perform under Redknapp.

“Ey Tongee - have a kick about or you’ll be off with the reserves. See you at the buffet for meat and potatoes.”

My point is if he was fit enough to be called up to the French squad then he was fit enough to take part in our first pre season friendly
Ahh, I get you. Sorry, thought you meant in terms of form and ability.

But yeah that does seem to confirm he was fine and will be out the door

There’s definitely something to say about the fact that this type vitriol is always directed at certain players if they arent working out quite well immediately. It’s fucking disgraceful.
I think sadly some people haven’t been able to separate their feelings for Ndombele after the last ITK, and this latest piece of information.

Of course I’m sure no one wishes Him ill- more likely just a shortsighted comment on how their patience has run out with him.

Bigger question is if Pogba and N'Dombele have it will the whole French squad go into isolation and for how long? Will Hugo be OK for Everton?

Get well soon Tanguy.
So he'll have a 2 week isolation in France then. Will he also require another 2 week quarantine when he comes back to the UK?
If that's the case, it'll be end of September/ start of October before he resumes training with the squad. Shit.

The football authorities are asking for trouble having international games one week before the season starts. Infections are rising, including here in the UK with a jump of 500 cases just today. Players are going to travel all over Europe and then return just as week 1 of the PL begins ??‍♂️

Absolutely. These internationals are completely unnecessary, both in terms of COVID risk, and the short off season the players have had.

Lots of policies carve out pandemics - amusing property based story is that the Business interruption insurance of one of the big insurers (might have been Aviva) - didn’t cover pandemics. Lol.
Yeh my travel insurance didn't cover pandemics, thanks for that one employer ?
