Well that will be our position if we don't get a suitable offer.

Hardly going to say anything different either, we need to avoid looking desperate.

It’s from one extreme to the other though isn’t it. We all want to make ambitious signings, but this has to go down as a failure of scouting, compounded by recklessness with his contract.

Surely the majority of blame has to be with the lazy fuck!

Well that's me, @yankspurs and @dtxspurs happy until the next update in 7 minutes.

Ahem?? I’m firmly in the keep him camp. He signed to play for Poch, started well, got injured. Recovered, had another niggling injury, then Poch gets sacked. Jose comes in, Covid hits, more injury problems. Doesn’t speak the language, injuries, new country, global pandemic and people are surprised he hasn’t blown us all away. I’d argue Lo Celso hasn’t either, he just happens to be far fitter and more of a natural scrapper.

If he comes good for us, we’ll be laughing. If we sell him, we won’t be able to sign a player as talented for a while - especially without CL.

Ndombele on loan would be immensely poor decision from the club — especially if we’re giving them an option to buy him at loss. With likely little financial outlay from the buying club this window we won’t be signing a replacement for him this window. We’d be better off keeping him, especially in such a watershed season for club, player, and manager. We need as much talent as possible!

He’d be Dele’s backup, so there wouldn’t be as much pressure for him to be firing right away and he could be coached / trained back into the side. Not buying the loan rumors at all, a sale is a different story.

"The Goat has had multiple people, with very different sources and on all sides of the issue, tell us the same thing. Ndombele has been taking the piss for months and has no interest in training or playing for us. This is not the club briefing against him or trying to back a stubborn Jose. Ndombele's behaviour and attitude is awful."

If we are prepared to loan him, and only time will tell if that happens or not, then I think it's safe to say the ITK we've been getting is true. So if he has no interest in playing or training for us, then surely a loan is better than nothing. What's the point of having a player hanging around who has no interest in being here? If we can't sell him, then what else can we do other than loan him? It's hardly a poor decision if the alternative is paying a player to do nothing.

I get the impression some fans just really want to believe that this is down to poor man management or the player taking time to adapt and don't want to accept there is every chance, the player, himself, is just a total and utter bellend.

And other fans are so entrenched in their view that he’s “an utter bellend” that they believe everything they read (ITK is frequently agenda-laden) as it reinforces their view. How the fuck was the **** supposed to be training if he’s been diagnosed with covid and self isolating? Jose himself said he’d been training well after project restart it’s just convenient for the frothing-at-the-mouth gammons to forget that.

If it was a case of one piece of the ITk, I'd agree with you. But this is cumulative and supports what we've seen on the pitch at times, claims of attitude problems in France and what the likes of Ally Gold has said regarding leaks. There would have to be one hell of a well coordinated agenda for there not to be truth in it. I'm the ITK's get their info from differing sources and often contradict each other. But in recent weeks, they are all seemingly saying similar things regarding NDombele.

Also "gammons?" Please tell me you aren't Owen Jones type!

Im not buying any ITK on his situation at the moment because it all reeks of agenda. The training/attitude/fat stuff seems like slanderous bs and its honestly pretty irresponsible for someone to be throwing it out there for public consumption.

Ally Gold has spelled it out time and time again and everything him and Dan Kilpatrick has said is steadfast. Club wants to keep and work with him. Mourinho prefers to sell but would work with him if he stays.

Cant believe we gave him such a massive contract. He’s had one good season of top flight football, and we went and gave him a pay packet equal to the England Captain.

Hahaha

Funny you say this because I’m 100% sure at the time fans were saying ‘sToP beINg TiGht LeVy jUsT pAy hIM wHat hE waNts’

And now we get comments like this. It’s a funny old game ?

He also had two very good seasons. Our fans where crying that we are paying less than other clubs but when we paid a lot of player wanted by a lot of clubs who is exactly what we need now its bad thing

If you can find a post like that from me about NDombele, you might have a point. I’m pretty sure you won’t though.
