I don't know if it's be said before but it probably has helped him not getting any love from the fans, if only he could hear the fans singing his name it might have helped him push on.
Our fans? You mean the ones whole spewed some disgusing hate his way on the internet forums and twitter due to some irresponsible bits of information that was total bullshit? Its actually probably for the best no fans have been allowed in because they would all be on his back for no reason. This gives him an opportunity to change the narrative.

I have and always will continue to praise him hugely to counteract the disgusting, slanderous, borderline racist remarks on here off the back of some highly irresponsible bits of info posted that has since, unsurprisingly, been shown to be total horseshit. Every single one of you in this thread need to have a long, hard look at yourselves after this.

Fucking hell, Hank. Get a grip.

I back Ndombele, and I also think people were way overreacting to pieces of information that they couldn't verify, but you can't verify it either. How do you know it was horseshit? (Referring to bad attitude, wants to leave etc)

I back him as long as he wants to put the work in to succeed. I've not been one to call him "fatty" etc as I think that's shit behaviour, but I have been pragmatic with regards to keeping him.

A lot of what has been said has come from the same sources that have called incoming transfers, so let's not write them off so easily. If he's decided that he's going to show us all what he can do then great.

The Europa league this year might be the best thing for him as it provides some low pressure games that he can use to gain fitness and confidence in. Something that we couldn't afford at the end of last season.

Said he refused to train and show up to pre season. Meanwhile, he had COVID. And everyone on SC went wild with vitriolic bullshit.

This is it pretty much. It was frustrating not seeming him play so much last season but on the pitch the work was just not there and in all honest didn't give Mourinho much choice but to turn other players.

Might be completely wrong, but I get the impression his first year in the country has been bit of a struggle and in turn had an affect on the pitch for us. In the Amazon documentary, when he is with Aurier and Sissoko discussing his first season he mentions leaving his family to come here and he kinda smiles when saying that but felt as though it may have been a bigger issue for him then he was maybe letting on. Also in the meeting with Levy when he mentions his focus and concentration wasn't there.

Some young players can move abroad and dive straight in and have no issue adjusting (Sancho going to Germany springs to mind) but have to appreciate not everyone can do that.

That’s the point though - one (collective we) shouldn’t do that to redress some sort of balance. Best to say it as you see it imho, unless one is after a response. Must admit I do it occasionally to stick a stick in a wasps nest, but that’s another thing. You are definitely not afraid of an opinion either ?

I'm not saying it was horseshit, but the source of that information contradicted itself within a fortnight. And the documentary showed Ndombele engaging with Levy about trying to turn it around - funnily enough, the info started turning after verifiable facts from the documentary and titbits from trusted sources at the club like Ally Gold started talking about all the good work Ndombele was doing.

Wow - nothing like getting into a spat with a few posters and then accusing everyone of being racist. Total overreaction and very irresponsible. Maybe you should have a good look at yourself before casting aspersions on others.

People here are blaming themselves for thinking ND was not a goer for us .

I think they are forgetting the absolutely poisonous ITK re ND which made us think things were very bad. Herc (was it ?) said ND was surely leaving because something had occurred that was so dreadful he couldn't relate it to us .

Delighted N'Dombele is still with us .

I have a feeling there was an incident probably one where Tanguy snapped and went back at Mourinho. I would imagine some people in the club may have seen him react how they would perceive as badly in that instant to Mourinho but given Tanguy came across as shy and quiet in the doc and we already know that is something Mourinho doesn't like its probably exactly the fight Mourinho's been wanting and waiting to see from him.

The fans in the stadium tend to be more supportive, imo.

Didn't we receive info from our SC verified ITKs about Ndombele's poor attitude? You can't blame posters on here for reacting at the time to what we were hearing from trusted members. Rather than now calling people out, why don't we all just chill out and enjoy what we're seeing in Ndombele's turnaround in form. There's never been any doubt he has the talent, I'm just delighted to see him translate theory into practice.

Apart from the fact this interview was in relation to Lo Celso and Ndombele's entourage did everything they could to force a move behind the scenes.

Ndombele does seem to slowly be showing what he needs to, but it certainly hasn't been this way in the past.

who is his entourage?

Its wayyyy too much of a stretch to say "every poster" man..come on. What I will say, is that several posters went overboard and one poster in particular came out as an odious, racist cretin (he/she/they knows who they are).

Other than that, it was the same in most threads...thats the point of a forum...debate, disagree and move on.
