That wolf guy on Twitter is making some pretty bold claims about N’dombele. It’s hard to tell if he is making it up or actually has a good source
With 20 years inside the media industry I´m backing your description of AG: think you got it spot on.Hi, journalist here with 15 years of experience in the business - although news and not sport - and a good knowledge of how this stuff works.
It seems credible to me.
AG is a journalist who is drip-fed by the club. I have argued with him before about this saying he's too reliant on the club to hand him stories and therefore he's too close to piss them off. He denies this, as he would and should, but regardless of that it means in a case like this he's probably not talking out of his arse as he wouldn't rock the boat by reporting something completely untrue.
My guess is that he's heard it's happening and there will be an announcement soon, it's just he's trying to get in there first with the story without breaking any embargo or trust.
It's a classic carefully worded story and reading between the lines I'd say... it's ON!
Sorry, didn’t see that, i’ll DeleteI'm also pretty sure that @Rob yesterday said not to discuss him?
Yeah we need to hope that the Pogba saga drags on. Rumours today suggest he prefers a return to Italy, but they come from Italian sources so are probably hogwash. Given the size of the transfer I struggle to see any Pogba deal getting done quickly, so fingers crossed we can tie down Tanguy in the meantime.
If Real were to sign Ndombele surely they wouldn't also be able to afford Eriksen, so that's a slight positive.
This has his finger prints all over it, same as de ligt. It's fiction of the highest order, a total circus. His use of the media is insane.Very small silver lining. I'm still hopeful Madrid can get the job done with Pogba though.
The Agnelli's must be pumping big money into Juve if they do get Pogba. To have paid £100m for Ronaldo last year and now £120m for Pogba this, both on huge wages, plus Ramsey and Rabiot signing on fees, that is way above their financial capabilities I'd suspect. Last recorded turnover was around £450m.
I'm hoping Raiola is using them to get Madrid to pay up.
Yeah something doesn't add up with the Juve link. Surely he has his eyes set on Madrid.Very small silver lining. I'm still hopeful Madrid can get the job done with Pogba though.

All this going around in circles is funny.
My opinion on this is that we're the only team to make a meaningful offer for NDombele this window. Juve, Man City, Madrid etc.. have possibly been asked to be kept informed of developments but none of them are willing to bid what Aulas is expecting - so that only leaves us. Levy is obviously not going to bid what Aulas wants but he will get close and in the end, once he Lyon realise their hopes of a bidding auction won't materialise they'll accept our bid and we'll all live happily ever after.
Fake. Tanguy has a higher hairline.

there's so much noise at the moment, you feel something is on the verge of happening.
Was fundamentally flawed because their recommendation has already signed for Leverkusen.Speaking of alternatives, did you see that Tifo video of CM players that we could potentially sign. Quite interesting.
