Yesterday you were keen to impress that your view was balanced and not based on bias for Ndombele, so at this point you should probably mention that we also had ITK (lol) that Mourinho did rate Lo Celso?
Havent we got one from when Mourinho first joined saying that Lo Celso was a good signing? We can keep going if you’re going down this route again.yeh we did, we also had a public statement from Mourinho on what i'm talking about to add to the ITk we had in my favour so yeh...
this was after he ousted him when he first arrived and realised how good he actually was when he was forced to play him

Here’s what he first said:mate im talking about when Mourinho first arrived and lo celso wasn't playing and a reporter asked him why to which he replied with what I already said above...
lo celso eventually got game time when we had to rotate and then Mourinho started praising him
Mourinho has managed at the top level for a long time, particularly in this country - he should know how our media works. If he's given quotes like this, it means one of two things. Either:
a) He is deliberately trying to use the media to turn up the heat on Ndombele, either to put the pressure on him to start performing or to put the pressure on Levy to get a replacement.
b) He has just demonstrated extreme naivety in his media handling ability, something that used to be one of his strongest skills that has seemingly deteriorated rapidly since his final season in Madrid.
It's clear that Ndombele is extremely talented but has massively failed to deliver thus far. Whether this kind of response is the best way to get the best out of him remains to be seen, but let's make one thing clear, shots have now been fired, whether deliberate or not.
We dont know, which is mostly my point. But, perhaps point a in your post is what he is doing as he has tried everything else and failed to.see the required improvement. Ala global training programme etc. Who knows, let's hope it works.
You didn’t notice how well Dier played then particularly when he moved from CD to CM ?Mourinho got saved by Lo Celso yesterday. We were so bad in the first half.
He did it with Shaw at utd. And I think Shaw is now a better player because he did. It’s his way of getting the player to realise he is not putting in a shift. We have no idea how hard Jose and his have tried to motivate him behind the scenes. It obviously has not worked and Jose is reverting to what he hopes will work. Let’s hope it works. If it doesn’t shift Nd out pronto.
I’m sure he has. I also think he has tried with Ndombele as well. He clearly feels it hasn’t worked.I think Jose did motivate some of our players behind door. It definitely works for Dier and to a lesser extent Dele.
As I said. It’s a narrative perpetuated but the fans on the forum that is now seen as truth.
From where we’re seated it looks like Ndombele is one of them. Some just don't want Mourinho and will use anything to push the agenda
Hes not toxic because he is never positive about players. He is toxic because he creates enemies wherever he goes. Here he is backing a player, still toxic on this basis?
Mourinho: ‘Phenomenal’ Lo Celso shows why Tottenham will improve
Jose Mourinho says he cannot imagine how good Tottenham will be next season, and believes the “phenomenal” Giovani Lo Celso highlights just why they will improve next season.www.standard.co.uk
