Would go as far as to say best performance since he signed. And looked like he had more energy at 80 mins than he did at 50 mins, I’d put it on Jose for never leaving him on long enough to take advantage of everyone else on the pitch getting tired as well.

Sheffield United are embarrassing, but we looked so much better today with him and Hojbjerg able to move it around quicker, and I’m a fan of Sissoko in a lot of situations.

If he could sort out his control and learn to play more seemingly impossible passes, people might start to consider him on par with Lucas.

One of the most talented midfielders I’ve seen at Spurs, up there with Modric and Dembele, and quite similar in style to both.

So much more to come from him aswell.

Great goal, and at a crucial time when the result was looking in doubt again. Top quality today going forward.

We were grateful to have a unique and amazing player in Dembele , playing for us. Lady Luck has again brought to our club another unique and amazing, albeit dissimilar, player in Tanguy.

That pivot has soooo much potential to be the basis for our team. We have 5 of the front 6 settled as far as players go. We just really need a #10, Lo Celso's injuries are a major concern. We need one more creative player.

Daniel Levy masterclass

Who knew a childhood story about almost failing out of school would produce this sort of turn around. Can't wait till read Levy's autobiography so I can finally get off my ass and take definitive step to solve world hunger.

How can you be as miserable as you seem to be across multiple threads following a good win and performance?

I agree, and when looking at his technical ability on the ball he should become even better than Dembele in terms of assists and goals. If he can follow Hojberg and Kane's examples in terms of mentality the sky is the limit for this lad. In addition to his goal, that pass/through-ball with the outside of his foot today was a thing of beauty!

Even more pleasing was his defensive contribution, which gets overlooked by a lot of the fans. He's on his way to becoming the all-around CM that we need, just have to hope Jose can trust him enough to play along side PEH in more games. Add in GLC, playing right in-front of PEH and Ndombele and we have a really technical, pass-friendly CM2/3 that all can rotate, take turns moving the ball forward and start attacks from deep.

Great game, great player. We need to build the team around him.
I tihnk the team should be built around Kane, but with Ndombele as the key player linking attack and offence (rather than being part of the offence while PEH/Sissoko/Winks tries to link play to them, as he has been in most games before today).
