I just think he’s given up. He was really poor in the open training session, looked like he was putting in very little effort.
Shame as he’s a great talent ?
If that’s the case it turns my stomach. Like the other players don’t see it too. Shit attitude as Lloris alluded to amongst a number of our players. He disrespects
his peers, the new coaches, academy players desperate for an opportunity and most of all the fans.

Something I've noticed in the games we've played so far is the amount of defensive work required of the two outer CM's in the midfield three. They get through a lot of running.

Was sitting in the west stand with the supporters. Lots of fans were going for a photo with him.

Gets paid 200k a week to take pic with fans, maybe club mascot for a bit until he wants to put a shift in. I would not have bothered taking a pic if I saw him.

When you see how hard our CMs work in Nuno's system and the discipline to cover the FBs, I cannot see Ndombele being part of Nuno's plans.

There is something clearly not right, which maybe far too personal and private for the club to report into the public domain.

@SpursTillIDie1882 Just curious but why keep him? He has barely played for us. Sometimes it's a sunk cost and need to move on. Just curious to hear your opinion.
Only Hojbjerg played more minutes than Ndombele out of the midfielders last season. He had the 6th most appearances and the 8th most minutes out of the entire squad. Ndombele gets it pretty bad when there's been reports that the squad felt like they were all lacking fitness under Mourinho.

His wages might be an issue though

Maybe, but not if he actually does want to leave (as has been suggested because of his little clique buddies, Sissoko & Aurier looking to leave).

If he can't survive without them, then it's up to him to accommodate his exit from the club & be open to a significant salary cut.

Patience is gone with him now. He has cost, and continues to cost us a fortune for the square route of fuck all.

If people don't believe our money could be better spent elsewhere, then they're smoking much better stuff than I'm able to get hold of.

I was excited when we signed him and was hoping that things would get better last season. But patience is getting thin now with many of his supporters. I hope that Nuno has a good fitness plan for him.

We won’t get any attractive fee for him, especially during this Covid year.

Genuinely knew nothing about him when we signed him. Sadly I'm not much wiser after 2 years.

How is he still picking up a wage, anyone else in any other employment would have received their p45

The only solution I see in the market right now for us to get Ndombele out is by doing a smart swap deal + maybe some cash for Ruben Neves or straight Swap with Brozovic. That is the type of players with Hojberg and Lo celso we really need. Non of them have both the long/short range to controll the game, therefore we arent able to move the ball through the middle like we did with Eriksen before, but his 200k wages will probably scare every club except PSG away right now and Poch arent that stupid to try a second round with him i guess.... we are fucked :(

I can't imagine anyone being stupid enough to think he is going to be motivated in the Midlands if he isn't here so forget the Neves swap.

I’m sure there are people far better experienced at finding data to prove that the french league isn’t as bad as I (and a lot of people) believe it to be but how did this guy impress so much. His heart has never seemed in it in terms of intensity. Can’t deny his quality on the ball but it is so few and far between and his lack of work rate all round is a problem. Lo Celso is a far better balance of both skill and work rate.

struggling to think of a signing who looks less suited to the PL (and I include Rebrov and Soldado in that)

If there's one thing I can attest, it's that I've never seen someone who turns up to work get sacked. It's very common to get people who do just enough to avoid that, but not enough to be of any use.
