These stats are dumb. There’s no way that’s true.

Im pretty sure I’ve seen the same stat say the same thing about Dier from last season.

Then let's sell Dier for 50m! ;) I'm curious to know how they came up with Toby's stats though. I couldn't find any info but I don't have access to Opta services though.

I'm sure he's scored at least 2 own goals for us. Would that not count as an error leading to a goal?
Good point, although surely each OG has to be looked at individually. A huge freak deflection that goes down as an OG is completely different (and not really an error IMO) compared with, say, Lee Dixon lobbing his own keeper from 30 yards.

Not if he intended to score the own goals. Then 100% for execution.

Has there been anything definitive regarding what fee Spurs received for the transfer of Alderweireld? Initially it was supposed to be about €15 million but recent reports indicate the fee being around €5 million. Quite a difference.

The sun now saying its only £3m. Give it a couple of days and it will come out we paid them £5m to take him.

Lol. Given that rag’s recent performance on Spurs matters, I wouldn’t waste your eyes.

Doesn't really matter, but the Qatar side were adament it was €15m, and Transfermarkt has the same.

If I were to bet where the lower figures came from, I'd say it was us trying to dismiss it as less money to avoid being asked for more from other deals.

Incredible how there can be such a large disparity in what has been paid to the Club for Alderweireld. Would have thought that we’d have been able to squeeze a lot more than £3 million from a buying club for this player. Maybe it’s all about jettisoning wages…

Tbf trippier’s OG against Chelscum was in that league of badness

now toby has left, is anyone able to spill the beans on what allegedly happened between him and Poch/Levy (or was it his wife?) a couple years ago

In our interests to have it seem like we haven't recouped much from sales no? We're hardly gonna have it known we're caked all of a sudden when we're trying to do business at the same time.
