Just did a quick Google search and this suggests Amiens highest paid player is under €20k a week.

If a deal was possible then surely we’d have had to heavily subsidise his wages.

Mourinho has zero intention to play him so just making something on him is better than nothing

Good move for all concerned and wish him well. If we can find a new dm who's half as good as Wanyama at his best we'll do well. Bloke was a fantastic player. I remember when you would look at the team sheet and if he wasnt there it was 'oh fk'.

One amazing year, a huge part of our best year in the premier league, but sadly his body didn’t match his will after that injury. At least he gets to live in a wonderful new city while probably being the best player at his new club.

Another player blighted and ultimately ended by injuries. It seems to happen to us a lot.

Gutted for him but hopefully he can get games and enjoy his time there.

He was incredible for us. Him & Dembele was one of the best midfield partnership in the world

Prime Wanyama would’ve solved a lot of the problems we have today. We have to buy a DM in the summer, should be a top priority

A monster before the injury, a shadow of the player after it. Him and Dembele were dominance personified, I actually felt sorry for the opposition at times

Surprised we got some money for him. Thought we would have to terminate his contract.

Good luck big vic ?
