I'm still so excited by this signing if I'm completely honest. We have a seriously good player there if he recaptures his Brighton form. Can't wait to see him be able to play with a bit more freedom and in an attacking side.
100% never doubted him, just not being used correctly.

ffs I despair if anyone is seriously thinking Lo Celso is an option for next season.
Lo Celso, Bissouma and Bentancur in a high energy high pressing posession based system could work very well.

Lo Celso is another who's not been used properly at all.

Ndombele needs to go because of his fitness and attitude but if we want to play nice pass and move football Lo Celso could certainly have some use.

Just watched a reel on him. I forgot how brilliant he was fir Brighton. Extremely Dembelesque

That video of the cut on his ankle for the operation is pretty severe. As much as we'd love him back I think I would now prefer it if he came back ready for next season. We haven't seen the best of him and he will need a bit of time to get Conte's game out of his head and get back to the player we saw at Brighton who was very very good.

Him and Bentacur in our midfield could be very special!
I agree with this, my only concern (and I’m not expert) is that would the team be defensively stable enough with him and Bentencur? Do they provide enough cover to the back line? Would love to see us go 4231 with Bentencur, Biss and say Maddison. Skip, Sarr and (don’t shoot me) Ndombele as cover..

Yes, took a while for him to be trained into the Conte system, before he was allowed on the pitch, hopefully the long layoff has got that out of his system.

He is a very good player who just has had a season to forget and injuries. Will be like a new signing next season and hopefully our new coach can get the best out of him because on his day he is one of the best midfielders in the league.

Got a feeling he’ll be over the moon Conte has gone. If he’s over his injury, which looks worse than we were led to believe then he will be a real asset next season.

He was up there with Rice as the best midfielder outside of the top 6 when we bought him.

Don't have any worries.
