A lot of Argentinian names are Italian but the main language of the country is Spanish (of various dialects), in which case it would be Poch, as we'd pronounce it in English. However, if he's from an Argentinian family that speak Italian as their first language, which over a million in Argentina do, then you're probably correct.

I guess either is fine. I've always called him Pocketino as that's what is familiar to me.
