So nice to be able to enjoy watching us play attacking football again. They look sharper than us but they’ve already played a game.

It wasn't based just on this game. Our results took a big downturn last season when Bentacur got injured.
And that was all Skilp’s fault?

Not due to our poor defence or say playing alongside PEH all the time?

Don’t wanna go too much into it, but I think the Skipp bashing is getting a little silly, he needs to be given this season in a decent side before making judgements.

We could have had 5 or 6. Been a little scruffy at times but also had some really nice positive play. It’s clear we’ve been working on the sharp passing but not done a lot on shape and it was said at training yesterday they didn’t do any defensive work. West Ham have scored from two balls into the box, which is their strength and our weakness. Not getting carried away by any of it.

Really like Skipp's role on this set up. Seems him and Bissouma both have licence to break from midfield with the other left holding.
Deki has looked well off it.
It's exciting to watch, Ange had done some great work in a few weeks

Problem is though is that I'm not sure Skipp is the player we want the ball falling to in some of these more advanced positions.

Some dodgy defending and a bit shot-shy up front.
Solomon lively, Bissouma looking keen to be on the ball as much as possible.

Pros: Bissouma is going to be beast this season, some lovely link up and one two play, madders will fit us like a glove. Solomon reminds me a bit of a Lennon.

cons: that defense is a shambles. Badly needed our target for these pre season games, tanganga isn’t good enough, and neither is Reguilon, got fried by Bowen.

Completely agree. Skipp gas done pretty decent this game too. Just a shame he wasn't more clinical in front of goal

It’s been so long since we played attacking football. We have forgotten we need to put the ball in the back of the net at the end.??

I'm actually enjoying watching spurs lose 2 - 0 to west ham more than I enjoyed watching most of last seasons football.
Because when we had gone behind against West Ham or 2 down in recent games, you don't expect any sort of comeback.

Playing like this means you feel like you just need 1 goal and you can turn it around
