at least there’s no papering over the cracks now with scraping 4th or getting a lucky CL final.

we are where we deserve - mid table. big changes required, or we will be bobbing about there for the foreseeable.

If looking at form, results and league position doesn't make someone at Levy towers take notice, next season is going to be a wreck.

There isn’t one single enjoyable element to this season at all - Arsenal will finish above us, we will struggle to finish top half the way we are going, West Ham will stay up.

Genuinely the shittest season in about ten years. Wish it would just fuck off already. Shame it didn’t get binned with corona virus.

This game doesn't really matter - neither of these teams will be top 5 and neither will we. We blew our chance yesterday

Lose our next few games and things are going to get real toxic real fast

Its getting pretty bad already... Look at our remaining fixtures and barring Bournemouth and Palace its kind of a struggle to see where we are going to pick up points based on Thursday nights performance.

More than 10 years

You can argue the AVB/Sherwood season (13/14), we still finished 6th

We can argue the 2 pts from 8 games Ramos/Harry season (08/09), we were actually showing the promise of a good team the second half of that season and it proved to be a springboard for a great following season.

We can argue the Jol/Ramos season (07/08) but we won a cup so ... no.

I genuinely think we're going back to either 03/04 (Hoddle/Pleat) or 04/05 (Santini/Jol) since things were last this bad.

Think it's Hoddle/Pleat for me. I feel very gloomy at the moment. It's been a long old while since I felt like this going into matchdays.

I don't know where we go from here. We have an unbalanced squad, a manager who's a winner but needs a big cheque book and a chairman who wont satisfy the managers itch.

It all just seems like a bit of a pickle.

It's hard to see a path or plan for progress.

The only crumb of comfort I have is Ndombele, Sess and Lo Celso all performing next season.

Its ominous.

I think we need new ownership and direction.

If there's no change in philosophy from the top down and i'm talking Lewis/Levy here, then we absolutely need a DoF in situ together with a cohesive transfer strategy in not only acquiring the talent, but a plan in place when they are here integrating into the first team.

Changing manager is just a sticking plaster.

Plus the excuse of them not spending any money because of the virus. If we had owners that cared they’d be putting money into the club. Fuck it, even if Lewis gave us a loan with a stupid interest rate I’d be up for it. But they won’t.
