I don't see how Leicester will get top 4 in the near future if they throw this away.

Liverpool won't be as bad next year. Chelsea may even push for the title. United will have enough.

They need to get it this season, as you say much tougher ask next year. Plus a few of their players you could imagine some of the other top clubs trying for.

It was my fear as soon as they won the cup at the weekend. I knew they wouldn’t turn up for this game. They will Sunday obviously.

Parading the cup of course - which they are proudly entitled to do - just hope we can rain on that parade

Interesting margins - if it stays as is, I'm pretty sure Leicester will have lost as many games this season as us.

If you think about how "amazing" their season has (apparently) been, then weigh that against the BS that's gone against us so far (so bad to have to sack a manager, too, AND have a complete rookie in charge), are we really that far off it?

If Leicester win, they could finish 2nd. If they lose, then it's probably 5th and we could finish only a point behind them. Such a wierd season. As fans we judge success / failure and yet the difference can be very small.

Makes all the clambering for Rogers all the more sickening

It's why people shouldn't be quick to dismiss Rodgers not wanting to come to us.

Things change very quickly in football and if Leicester have a dip, they will find that clubs will unsettle their better players and then his job becomes tougher, top 4 becoming a distant dream - look at us to see that. The option of moving to a bigger club with more potential then becomes less likely as there's another coach of the moment.

Leicester will bottle top 4 again, unbelievable

If Liverpool win their next 2 games against Burnley and Crystal Palace, which they should do, they will get top 4. Even if Leicester wins next game against us Liverpool will probably have a better goal difference

I can't see us beating Leicester on the final day, but it would actually be good for us if Liverpool and Chelsea weren't in the Europa League, if we want any chance of winning it next season.

Really good point, them winning the Cup and dropping out of CL will certainly get him thinking.
