Surely the play was sell Raya and buy a focal point up top, it looks like poor summer planning from them, they don't really have any out ball.
Us moving onto Vicario May have fucked that up for them, they then ended up loaning him to Arsenal which is less than ideal if they wanted to reinvest.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved him in a Spurs shirt but he was far more a ‘head down and hit it hard’ striker than a ‘stroke it into the corners’ kind of striker.

He was a scorer of great goals rather than being a great goal scorer.
Sorry didn't realise you meant that. I agree he was fond of a thunderbolt😀 love Defoe he bleeds Spurs.

For some a Christmas Eve game will be fine for others who travel to visit families I can see it causing problems .

Wife "We are going to travel on Christmas Eve to see my parents for Christmas"
Husband "Not me , I'd much rather watch Chelsea/Wolves than see my mother in law."
I hate both Wolves and Chelsea but I agree fully with your hypothetical husband.....

Agree, they probably fucked the deal themselves though, anywhere around £30m would have been excellent work on their part.

In an ordinary season I’d be looking at Brentford’s performances so far this season and thinking they look primed for a relegation battle. But the promoted 3 + Bournemouth have looked so bad so far that I think the lowest Brentford could fall to if these performances are repeated is about 16th.

Chelsea have looked good in parts, but my goodness Brentford have been awful.

Looks like Frank is caught between styles, wanting them to play out and playing into the channels, still an annoying defensive unit and Mbeumo needs a move to a better side.

With the looming points deduction for Everton they should be ok. But it’d only take the right kind of managerial change at one of those four clubs you mentioned to see them dragged down into it.

Can't believe City offloaded him. And to Chelsea of all clubs.
They have an embarrassment of riches in that area though and he would no doubt have rotted in the reserves like so many potentially great youth products.

Its the worst thing about clubs like City hoovering up the best young talent as there’s rarely a consistent route to the first team
