Honestly... I hope this never, ever stops. A running joke for at least the next 20 years. Brilliant.

I'm not smart enough but I feel like a song to "Do you want to build a snowman" starting with "are you going to want a replay?" could be used by every crowd against Liverpool.

Are you going to want a replay?
Should Howard Webb give you a call?
You say you should have had a penalty
Although we clearly see our full-back win the baaaallll.

You think it’s still the 80s
But now it’s not
Tackles like that get red cards
Are you going to want a replay
(you might not even win the replay)
Just blame VAR

(No you’ve watched Frozen too many times!)

I think this weekend has already shown to me City will clinch it again.

Arsenal do not have the goals.

They were very lucky to score 2 against us and Chelsea - penalties, deflections, GK gifts etc. They havent been carving out chances and when they have Jesus, Nketiah and Martinelli have been wasting them.

City don't do that.

Liverpool are much better but still look a little suspect in defensive transition. They have the excellent attacking midfielders but not really a specialist who covers and is great at it. Depth at full back too.

Which leaves us (others are too far behind to consider).

If we beat Chelsea tomorrow that will be a huge step toward us competing. But I think itll mostly be this run of games coming. If we are still close to City after it, and are healthy/still positive, then we may be able to stay in it.

But I dont see us winning it, we need to really address some depth issues in January and I am not sure we will be able to get the players we want.

By then City may be pulling away

Just seen the Arsenal statement and without any bias I caught the the Newcastle goal without hearing about the controversy first and I thought it was absolutely fine. The ball being over the line always looks worse but the entire ball has to be out and if you can give the Palace goal as not being sure last week the same applies to the Newcastle goal.

In terms of the other decisions, both could have lost a player. Cry me a river, both were doing the Pep trick of giving away early fouls to stop attacks.

Separate note. The Luton v Liverpool game just once again shows that there is no easy games. You can only beast what’s in front of you.

I’ll just take our season game by game. City’s goal scoring ability will always mean they are the team to beat.

These stat nerd, social media football gimps need to stop. What the fuck is this? Imagine talking football with someone like this in real life

We fucked up.
Think of football as a boozer, whilst no one was looking xG crept in, sat quietly at the end of the bar and ordered a drink, we shrugged and did nothing.

Now every time we get to the boozer, xG is there at the best table with his weird little brother, xGa, and their weird fucking mates, field tit, and now transition control and excessive verticality IP...they're annoying the fuck out of everyone, making loads of noise and just generally being pricks.

We had the opportunity but missed it, we should've marched xG out of the pub by his collar and threw him into the fucking road.

That chap on Twitter immediately negates the supposed intelligence of the first tweet with an offensively bad display of horizontal GQ and SQ in his immediate follow-up:

Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea have received more penalties this season (16), as the rest of the Premier League combined (15).
And table-topping Tottenham who have been in the penalty area more than any other team have received....zero penalties.

None of it happens if the players play to the whistle though. The goal was entirely preventable if the gooners just get on with the game. I wonder if anyone mentioned that to Artita...
