Maybe but it was th defender who didn't contest and let zaniolo drift in behind that cost that goal

It was still awful keeping. He's in absolute no-man's land regardless of what the defender does or does not do. You have to get to the ball if you decide to commit like that.

"90+10: It's a scramble inside the box as Aston Villa push for a winner, before Cash goes into the book, meaning he will miss the Boxing Day game against Man Utd.

Cash looks like he's done some real damage to his shoulder too. Not good"

Oh dear, poor Matty

Villa got more than they deserved there. It's so frustratingly watch a decent side against a low block when they fall into the trap of playing at a slow tempo. Spurs do it all the time. Takungvtheir precious time getting to the final 3rd when there is no opponents pressuring the ball until the point.

Well done Sheffield anyway. They were pretty comfortable for tons of that game and should've taken 3 pts.

He should feel lucky not to have been booked for simulation.
100% this. A few players on both sides tried to buy cheap fouls and the ref didn't give in to any of them. The only thing I think the officials didn't get right was the possible red. Looked more like he was flailing his arms at the player than disentangling himself. I don't think he meant to catch the Sheffield player with the elbow, but he was trying to lay hands on him.
