He’s one of those players that I struggle to understand what he’s actually good at. He’s not bad, just doesn’t seem to excel at anything particularly.
He reminds me of Jordan Henderson, he’s ok at most things but is made exponentially more effective due to how good an athlete he is. I think he’s an effective player but I don’t think he’s an upgrade on Lo Celso or Sarr for the 8 position and he wouldn’t have the composure or intelligence to play the 6 for us either. It would be replacing Hojbjerg just for the sake of it with a player that isn’t really providing much that we don’t already have. He’s better than Hojbjerg, that’s about all I could say about it of note.

Gallagher is a deeply unimpressive footballer. Lots of effort but technically he doesn't appear to have much at all going for him.
He was very good for Palace, a lot of these Chelsea players look worse than their actual ability right now.

Gallagher is just a slightly more technical version of Skipp.

Don’t see how he gets into our starting 11

Certainly not worth the £50m they are likely to want for him.

I feel for Poch but then again it was never going to be a good situation for him.

He is just damaging his reputation
