Gibbs-White is a really good player

They deserved that, played some good football just couldn't string the final attack together.

Also I'm glad we don't set up to play that way anymore, but there really are few things better in football than a fluid goal on the counter.

But we have shown we can still score goals from quick transitions. It's a very useful and effective tool, and even more effective if you don't base your entire game plan around only attacking that way.

Where did that come from?

Newcastle are starting to see that when you are considered a good team, teams will look to drop off and counter you.

Botman, Burn and Schar is not a good defence to combat counters Tripper isnt great on counters either

I put this game on because I had nothing better to do but it’s actually been a really good watch. Extremely evenly matched and end to end game so far.
