Any idea why there are so few games this weekend?
It’s the same the following weekend - I assume it is a winter break but split so
there are some games on each week

Exactly this, rather than have a full winter break with no football at all. This approach allows games to still be aired whilst also allowing teams a mini mid-season break. It’s the same the following weekend - I assume it is a winter break but split so

I wonder if we are possibly moving to having a sort of winter break from the UK. The games will still be played but in warmer countries ? UAE ? Saudi ?Exactly this, rather than have a full winter break with no football at all. This approach allows games to still be aired whilst also allowing teams a mini mid-season break.
Half the teams play 'matchday 21' this weekend while the other half play 'matchday 21' next weekend
One of the better decisions from the Premier League in years.Exactly this, rather than have a full winter break with no football at all. This approach allows games to still be aired whilst also allowing teams a mini mid-season break.

I hope not, can you imagine the fallout if a team like Liverpool lost out on the league title by 1pt and they just happen to have lost / drawn a game in UAE that would have typically been a home game.I wonder if we are possibly moving to having a sort of winter break from the UK. Wow I am shocked the goal was given.
Looked like he backed into the goalie on purpose imo. Was a really subjeClive decision though, and 99 times out of 100 a ref usually gives a foul when someone makes that much contact with a keeper.no way is that a foul.
Burnley keeper has run into the Luton striker and dived.
He may survive but still lose his job.Burnley has City, Arsenal and Liverpool in their next 4 games. Does Kompany survive that?
