Not meaning to sound condescending but have you actually watched him other than today, he had been really frustrating most of the times i have seen him play this season. He has 5 goals and 0 assists in 19 matches. Brennan has 5 goals and 7 assists in 26 matches in the league.

Agreed, but we had him leave for nothing , whereas Chelsea paid around £30M for him. Academy players rarely hit the ground running like Kane did but if they show a bit of potential other clubs are willing to spend good money on them - KWP, Bentaleb spring to mind as recent examples.
I know it’s easier said than done but Skipp is the only recent example of an academy player who has been given a chance and he has seemingly been around for ages.
I am in danger of spamming the thread now, but the best of the academy players need to see some light at the end of the tunnel- I can easily predict the team every week with us at the moment.
