Picking someone up at Theifrow on Tuesday at ten so was wondering if anyone knew any decent boozers to watch the game preferably at the airport or more likely on the Piccadilly line somewhere. Looked like there used to be an O'Neils but no more.

Thanks.

I think the Three bells (or could be Three Barrells) in Terminal Three shows football.

Just called them and they only have terrestrial channels. I may have to get off in Hounslow or Ealing.

Its affliated with Camra I believe.

Besides, its quite right that people be concerned with real ales. It better to be able to enjoy a nice quality beer than gut churning chemical shit like Carling or Fosters.

Wouldn't recommend Hounslow, but I have a plan, depending on where you are travelling from and how much time you have. If you get off at Earls Ct and hop on the District Line one stop to West Kensington there is the Famous Three Kings pub just outside the station. I used to live round the corner, and they screen all (and I mean all) matches. You can then hop back on the district line one further stop to to Baron's Ct and switch back onto the Piccadilly Line straight to Heathrow. Will then take you about 20 to 25 mins to the airport. I guess it all depends on how much time you have.

Not sure what sort of pubs are around South Ealing so can't really direct you there.

Thanks, it's an idea. His flight gets in at 10, so probably got about an hour from end of game (9.30 ish).

Sorted then....and trust me, after you've been there once you'll probably go back there again. Great atmoshere. Watched many Spurs games there.

I'm actually in the area on Tues if you fancy some company (although I won't be offended if you don't).

I'd recommend the White Hart in Harlington. Big screen and a 5 minute bus journey from Heathrow.

Bus is 140 towards Harrow Weald

Just what I was about to say.

The owner is a Tottenham fan so they'll always put Tottenham matches on in there.

You in there much Original # 10? I'm in there an awful lot.

Edit: Actually, you're probably suggesting the other one... there's no big screen in the one in Harlington... do you mean the one in Cranford? It's just down the road from it.

This is the one I go to where the owner is a Tottenham fan: http://www.fullers.co.uk/rte.asp?id=4&itemid=333&task=View

Nawm not really.

Most of the Chelsea scum hit the area only when there's a match at Stamford Bridge. Most live in the suburbs. If anything there's usually more Fulham fans around. But this is pretty clsoe to Earls Ct so the football crowd tend to be from all sorts.
