$1.5m per vote for qatar 2022. The whostle blower was part of the bid and watched it changed hands. Retracted her statements and didnt talk to blatter so she didnt have to pay qatar back the $1m for breaking the non disclosure.

But blatter pretty much knew everything though. Nothing happens in fifa without his knowledge. Fifas a dictatorship.

All part of the sepp blatter e60 special on ESPN.
Bin Hamman withdrew from the 2011 election a few nights before the vote. In exchange, Qatar would be untouched and win the election. Bin Hamman spent $5m in bribing the ExCo. Unbefuckinglievable. Absolute disgrace that this man is the head of FIFA and will win the election, yet again. Cant have 3 people opposing and splitting the votes. Hope 2 of them withdraw and endore the other.

Blatters so worried about the FBI investigation that he flat out refuses to step foot on American soil. FBI is protecting the Qatari whistle blower and her family. Shes gotten threats and hacked.

I hope ESPN releases the Sepp Blatter special with no viewing restrictions to let this go viral. Everyone NEEDS to see it. Essential viewing.

Thanks for the update @yankspurs
Good to see this is still being investigated. Would appreciate a summary. Can't believe there is any proof though

Havent been able to find the Sepp Blatter special from last night yet. But here is the Qatar 2022 investigation they did last year in which the Blatter special spawned from. Equally disgusting. Probably moreso. So absurd this WC is allowed to go on.

That's the trailer. The production company had it up on vimeo without a password block on it. Not they have it blocked. ****s.
Ah, my bad. didn't realise it was more than that one clip. I only posted because a lot of people don't have Vimeo
Good work Yankspurs!

Just watched this. Shameful - although not surprising.

The worst bit for me, out of all of this, is that people in countries like India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Nepal and probably others are making money out of the poverty and death in their own community. The lady talked about a money lender, taking out a loan, being left in a heap of debt and minus a son because he tried to make their situation better - and others are profiting from this tragedy and many, many others.

By now, everyone should know the attitude of Gulf companies towards South Asian workers - it's well documented and unlikely to change. Slavery was only abolished in Qatar in 1952, Saudi in 62, UAE in 64 and Oman in 70. It is still part of the mindset, and still goes on (I see it every day...).

This right to have a maid and treat her like shit, this right to work your construction guys like donkeys until they give up is still part of daily life - here, in fact, there was a news story recently about how the proposed wage increases for maids would affect people rather than how it's long overdue and fair - we're not talking raising their salaries from 500 GBP a week to 700 GBP a week, more like 100 to 120 for 20hrs a day/6 days a week.

Taking money from your own villagers and sending them off to the middle of nowhere, possibly to their deaths, is disgusting. As well as tackling the conditions of the country they are going to, the global welfare bodies should also be looking at the 'fixers' in their home countries.

Here's the special on YouTube.

Part 2:

Prof. Alan Tomlinson was one of my tutors at University. He was always very outspoken about FIFA in class.. them, Adidas, ISL, the Champions League, Olympics even. All linked together.

Don't wanna take this OT, but just to inform that Japan is doing the same, but in a slightly different way for the Olympics in 2020..

Modern day slavery sanctioned by the government..

Digusting how these countries treat workers. Dispicable.

Update of Joey boy....visiting the US next year for the Copa America for the first time since '11. Conveniently, the statute of limitations on foreign corruption is 5 years, which ends in December of this year. So the FBI will have to act fast in the investigaton and will have to work with Swiss prosecutors is getting charges filed against him.
