I am going to a boozer in FP after the game tomorrow to watch Hooray Henrys chuck an egg around. As the Vicky Line is down, does anyone know the quickest way to get from the ground to the tube station (Pub is near, just by the park).

I was thinking either a direct bus, maybe from White Hart Lane at that stop near where they sell programmes or get a bus to Wood Green then get Piccadilly Line. I think there are ones that go from that stop opposite the park and museum, near a pub the name of which escapes me.

I don't really fancy walking up the High Road.

Gracias.

Yep, 243 from across Bruce Castle Park will get you to Wood Green tube or 123 will take you to Turnpike Lane. The W3 goes direct to Finsbury Park but is a nightmare on match days.

You could get a rail replacement bus from seven sisters, that will then stop at Manor House station and Finsbury Park only. They're pretty handy when the Victoria Line is not running.

The W3 also goes to Wood Green on the way to Finsbury Park. I'd take that as it avoids the high road altogether.

Bus lanes will be in operation along the High Road until one, though. The W3 comes down White Hart Lane, which can get seriously grim.

For those interested or next time Vicky Line down and doing similar journey, get train or walk to 7 Sisters and get rail replacment. Waited ages at the W3 bus stop, walked on to High Road waited for a bit for another bus and none came, so got train and bus quite quickly.

Didn't mind waiting, people watching in Tottenham is interesting. Not to mention sitting behind a guy in a snake skin suit on the replacement bus. How much did that bad boy set you back SS?

The W3 is fucking shit after matches. When I lived in Wood Green I could get to WHL in 15 minutes on the bus, but getting home was a bloody nightmare. I never actually found out where it starts from - I THINK you have to walk down White Hart Lane and cross the A10, and it starts just from there. A couple of times I just walked pretty much all the way to Wood Green before I even saw a W3 drive past.
