I never knew so many people in the accounting field supported Spurs.. You learn something everyday ?
The recent rise in the interest rates is making the maths a bit harder for us, but we like a challenge.

highly unlikely we sign both as of now. Everton are opening the door on pigeon boy let’s see what happens over the next few days regarding both ??‍?
Yeah, I always kind of figured this to be true. If the figures are to be believed, buying both would be an outlay of ~ £140m - as exciting as that sounds, it's basically an entire transfer kitty.

I don't see how it's feasible we spend that much on them two when there's still a huge hole at CB and Djed/possible midfielder signings still to come.

I can imagine Levy certainly not wanting to do it. I just kinda hope if we get one in Conte pushes hard for both.

Kind of thing I could see him doing!

Does this mean Richarlison is indeed the prime target I wonder.

Seems like it. Only Spurs could sign Richarlison for 60 mill and still make it seem underwhelming lol.

Then again, I trust Conte and FP if that is the route we go down.

I think someone said it well above. There is definitely another level for Richarlison to go to in a better team with a top coach. In fact I think there could be bigger early gains on him even though I think Raphinha has the higher ceiling.

If we can get Richarlison I think it would be superb business all things considered.

For different reasons I really like both....

As long as we end up with one of them though...

Agreed. If we lose Sonny or Kane at any stage of the season Richarlison is a dream replacement for either. Raphina to challenge Kulusevski in a rotation role and a 5 man sub situation is a dream as well.

When chasing a game move Raphina to the right , Kulusevski into the middle and switch it up is a wonderful scenario, same with injuries if we need Kulu to revert back into CM like he has played previously Raphinha, Son and Kane would mean hardly any impact on losing Kulu.

We'd have amazing options, ones teams wouldn't be able to prepare properly to play against

I know it’s key for us to focus on ourselves but if he did go to Arsenal I think he would seriously lift them.

People saying that signing him and Jesus for example isn’t addressing their issues but with that type of firepower it won’t matter too much if their defence is a little shaky as they’ll absolutely destroy a lot of teams.

Very much hope that if we don’t get him that he goes to Barca, same with Eriksen that hope he goes to Brentford not Man.U, both of those players wouod seriously strengthen and lift and almost transform 2 of our highest rivals for top4 so if so we’ll have to hope we have a good plan and execute on it to give conte some serious tools to work with.

I agree on Raphinha lifting them but not so much Jesus.

They're not close to our front three, no chance.

I get your points but I would contest a couple of them.

1) Conte will be wanting us to aim higher than top 4 so we should be setting our sights higher too. Yes Utd and Arsenal improving won't be ideal but we're now ahead of both in my opinion and should be aiming to overtake Chelsea with some good business.

2) We've got the most prolific strike partnership in PL history and still had a couple of years of terrible league form because of CM and defensive issues. Unless they sign players in those areas they are currently an injury or two away from disaster as was proven last season with Partey and Tierney.

Yea I meant Raphinha lifting them bro not so much Jesus although I think he would be a handy addition for them and if played regularly and gets his confidence up could do very well, pep trusted him in some pretty big games which I think says a lot.

Pigeon-boy?! Now you’ve said it I can’t unsee it! All I see now is Pesto the angry pigeon from the Goodfeathers cartoon! Brilliant, genuinely laughed there!

Fair enough mate...I've just never been overly impressed with him

Yeah definitely think Richarlison is first choice.

Interest in Raph to help our negotiating position with Everton and also drive price up for Arsenal with Raph...and of course a legitimate back up option if we can't get Richarlison.

No way we're getting both.
