Lloris, the only one who didnt play poor

For the people saying Toby, worth noting that he got caught a couple of times trying the offside trap but played pedro, willian and etc. onside.

We got away with it but it wasn't a faultless performance from perhaps our best player of the season

Uncharacteristically disjointed performance due to the crazy schedule and travel. We still could've won it despite playing way below our current standard. Aldo remained alert at the back to save us a couple of times, but Lloris gets MOTM for that brilliant save from Hazard's cracking volley!

Fucking harsh saying everyone else played poor.

How many shots did Chelsea even have on target 1 or 2? I think it took to the 68th minute for them to have their first on target.

Lloris - 7+ Didn't have a ton to do, but made a very impressive save from the Hazard volley.

Walker - 6 Defended well, as usual this season, but lacked any end product going forward and he hit a few wayward passes.

Alderweireld - 9 MOM Thought he was excellent mopping up everything. Immense today bar one mistake in the box.

Vertonghen - 8 Thought he played very well intercepting and tackling and springing forward into the attack.

Rose - 7 Defended fairly well except for the lapse of concentration and poor tackle for the yellow on Hazard. Was a constant threat for Chelsea to consider going forward, but was bested by Willian a few times much to my annoyance.

Dier - 7 Usual performance from him. Tried some good forward passes, but couldn't really get much going. Weird communication issues with him and the CBs today, but nothing came of it, thankfully.

Mason - 7 Liked his play today. Shame he came off injured as he was trying a lot of things going forward.

Son - 7 He was a good threat in attack today and had two very good scoring chances, one from Kane and the other from Lamela I believe but good saves by Begovic kept him off the score sheet.

Eriksen - 6 I wasn't impressed much with him today. Looked sluggish on the ball and lacking ideas. He didn't dribble well today and was tackled quite a few times I believe. Corners were disappointing as well.

Dembele - 7 Strong again today, but I thought he reverted back a little to too much sideways and reverse passing and didn't drive forward with the ball as much save for a couple of opportunities including his good shot in the 1st half.

Kane - 7 He looked like he was tired and I don't think his pressing and movement were as sharp today. Brilliant cross for the Son header that was saved.

Lamela - 6 Almost a 7 in his limited amount of time as he made an impact in the pressing and was inventive and created a few half chances.

N'jie - NET In my opinion.

They weren't onside. All three times, the attacking player (two of them in the first instance) was clearly offside. The third one was close, but still offside. I sit right in line with the edge of the penalty box and I have a linesman's view. No one sitting around me thought there was any doubt in the first two cases.

I wish they had showed replays because it was impossible to tell on TV and you were always left wondering.

Perhaps bit harsh saying everyone played poor but Lloris was the only one who played well

I didnt say Chelsea played well, they also were poor but they executed their gameplan

Is our team now beyond criticism?

On BT sport they were onside especially the first 2. I will check again

Decent performances all round. Back 5 all solid, Dier excellent, Mason and Dembele both a little leggy but got us moving, front three, lots of running, missed some guile today.

Draw about right, still only three goals conceded against Scum, Chelsea, United, City and Liverpool - compare with last three seasons! - and 13 games unbeaten including four of these teams.

Going in the right direction

I don't think anyone was man of the match really.

The best bit of quality all day was probably Lloris' save from Hazard. Kane's cross for Son coming a close second.

The centre backs were generally solid but even they seemed a bit tentative at times and there were a couple of errors. The two full backs settled down eventually but I felt both were shaky first half.

Dembele was our best midfielder first half, even hobbling around with a knock, but faded in the second half. Dier I thought was completely anonymous for large spells of the game.

Mason looked pretty lost out on the right side, and I thought this was a strange tactical decision. Eriksen was off the pace. Son had a couple of good moments but I felt he should have contributed more as well. Kane was feeding off scraps and had little impact, bar that wonderful cross early on.

Neither of the subs managed a huge amount either, though Lamela played a nice one-two with Son.

Tired performance and was very scrappy up against a defensive Chelsea team. I guess we can take it as a compliment that Jose needs to employ his 'big match strategy' and feels we are a team that they need to sit back against these days. A decent enough point, just a shame we couldn't have a bit more of a go against them.

Well, I'd be happy if they gave you all linesman's flags! But....TV replays showed different. You may have a linesman's view, but you're a Spurs fan sitting in the crowd. Let's be real!

Absolutely amazing. We had a tired side playing a class team with four world class forwards and we stifled them and people on here are disappointed in our performance.
I thought it was a super performance under the circumstances and the draw was a true reflection on the game. They had one great chance we had three .
Perhaps its an indication as to how much we have .progressed this season that there is a sense of disappointment.
MOM Toby.

No MOM today.
Most had their moments, Lloris late save, Kane cross, Dembele early on, Lamela late
But no stand out performer.over the whole game
which was scrappy and stalemated by Chelsea tactics
and our general all round shaggivivity.
They will be happier than us but the take a draw now Society
(Of which I am Life President) will be quietly satisfied.
Share out 70 between you boys.
Sixes and sevens today.

Lloris - 9 MoM. Dealt with crosses very well in extremely windy conditions, off his line in a flash when Pedro broke the offside trap and a truly world class save from Hazard.

Walker - 5 Passing, tackling and decision making was p*ss poor today.

Alderweireld - 8 Solid performance and along with Vertonghen easily dealt with Willian's free kicks.

Vertonghen - 7 Almost on a par with Toby but picked up a stupid yellow card.

Rose - 5 A clone of Walker today.

Dier 7 - Protected the defence and had a good game against a strong Chelsea midfield.

Dembele 7 - As per Dier, another who had a good game and made Begovic produce a good save.

Mason 7 - Worked very hard but his passing lets him down. Very good run into the box but try to do too much and ended up injuring himself.

Eriksen 4 - He was anonymous today and his set pieces were dreadful.

Son 5 - Very good header = an excellent save by Begovic. Other than that he was very quiet and didn't work anywhere near as hard as Hazard, Pedro and Willian for Chelsea.

Kane - 5 As per Son, and Eriksen he was hardly involved.

Lamela - 7 Potentially should have started. He worked hard for the team and was dangerous going forward.

N'jie 4 - Not long to impress in a difficult game but he was pants. Gave away a ridiculous free kick in a dangerous position and he looked lost through the middle.

Poch 5 - Our best line up with the players available although Lamela was very unlucky not to start. Tactics though were poor, Walker and Rose seemed reluctant the cross the half way line, especially Rose. The midfield 3 played well but were getting overrun because our front 3 were anonymous all game. N'Jie needed to play on the wing and I'm dumb founded by his decision to leave an ineffective Eriksen on all match.

Last twenty was slow, but Chelsea came to work damn hard and kill space. At times in the first half our recycling of the ball was excellent, we hardly gave them a chance even though we were tired. Sure we didn't carve them open very often, but just rewatching some of the passing in the first half (Eriksen played some really sharp quick passes), we were very tidy against a team set up to make it very hard to play against them

In some ways it was a more impressive performance than against City due to the circumstances, travel and the fact they really, really couldn't afford to lose.

Sure we had a few more lapses in the first half and the game tailed off .. but I loved the fact that we were generally untroubled by last years champions after a ridiculous trip on Thursday and have navigated a series of harder games so well.

There's a pretty big gulf between everyone is poor and criticism.
