Didn't think anyone was great or anyone awful. They all had their good moments. What pleased me was that we kept playing the same way, no panic and even when people played poor balls (Mason played us into trouble) they tried the same again. Thought Mason, Trips and Davies all lacked match sharpness and all got better as the game went on. Centre backs and Hugo looked solid, nice Cameo from Carroll and N'Jie looked very lively when he came on. The three attacking players all interchanged very nicely, all had quiet spells but, when they did, they other two stepped up. Kane score and linked incredibly well.

Positive.

that's what made his signing so spectacular he already is a star.

Exactly. One of only 4 players to score 10 or more goals in Germany over the last three seasons, so he's more than proven his ability and consistency.

Son and Alli were the pick of the bunch, and Eriksen showed again he's the club's best corner taker, as corners hit with pace are more likely to lead to a goal as they just need the merest touch and redirection, whereas the floaty ones that certain other players deliver often just lead to chances but not goals, as the pace has to come from the header.

Trippier isn't very good at all and we'll get shot of him next Summer. Nice to see Carroll's beefed up a bit, and there may be hope there yet. Njie looked sharp.

Meh.

Only thing I learned today is that Davies and Trippier are still behind walker and rose.

Everyone else did what they could against a team that bunkered.

It is annoying though to have to sit and watch the 10 in a row that barely reach the first defender, waiting for him to deliver one on the money!

Weird game. Glad to see the team was a persistent. No real MoM. But if pressed Ill go with Son. Id give everyone else in the team a seven. But tripps and davies get sixes.

Wow. You're really driving this home, aren't you? (I saw your remark in the West Ham match thread).

Do you conveniently miss the other 90% of his corners? I could hit one as sweetly as that if I took 10 corners each game.

Eriksen was excellent tonight. His corner for the goal was also wonderfully taken. His other corners were... not.

Davies was always facing the wrong way when he received the ball. Consequently he could never move forward and could only pass sideways or backwards.
