Went with Sessegnon. I thought his goal gave the entire team a lift and a bit of confidence.

Underrated today because he was not on the scoresheet, but I thought Kane had one of better performances of the season - very isolated up top, but gave a lot of effort.

Lloris kept us in the game in the first half, Sessegnon shifted the momentum with a difficult angle to score from for a left footer, subs were good and Kane was great for that corner. And Bentancur keeps solidifying himself as player of the season for us, wonderful player.

MOTM from the players who started was probably Lenglet, PEH or Sess. Bentancur, Lucas, Dier, Gil, Perisic all good when they came on.

Sanchez, Emerson both hopelessly shite, davies a little better but not much, bissouma and skipp OK not incredible, kane and son shite

Was a great game to watch second half. Actually thought Spurs played well first half too, although I appreciate it was a bit clunky.

Key take aways for me:

The defence is concerning and shows a lack of quality once you remove Dier and Romero. Not convinced Bournemouth get 2 with the regulars in the staring line up. I enjoyed Sessegnon's performance for the most part, but the whole back line in the first half and early second looked prone to an error, hence goals.

Was delighted for Davies scoring.

Bentancur, as being discussed in his specific player thread, was immense when he came on. Rightly rested, but for me, he is a class above every other midfielder at the club. Bossed it when he came on. That said, I thought Skipp was decent first half and would have left him on, unless he's a gradual reintroduction. But Bentancur is such a quality addition. Given Juventus problems this season I am perplexed as to why he wasn't in their plans, but who cares! If Paratici can find more like him then happy days. I think the best CM3 is Skipp, Bentancur and Hojbjerg.

Bissouma clearly needs more time to understand / impose himself, largely disappointing. Must do better. It's there, for sure.

Sonny and Kane did well. Sonny was good on most set pieces and nearly scored a screamer.

Overall, the team performance was decent. A couple of sucker punch goals and you have to factor in that Bournemouth are a decent side. But the strength in depth is an issue to compete on all fronts. As Antoniooooo has said on a number of occasions.

Did ok mate. Usual lively self. Nothing spectacular but didn't do any harm to his chances either. A pain to defend against.
Lively is actually remarkably helpful in a squad that lacks bit of attacking aggression and verve. He’s a useful option and it’s nice to see him being trusted more

I was worried at the start of the game that with Bentancur out who would be MOM but in the end he came on to save a resume his rightful place as MOM. Oh for team filled with players of his ilk. Outstanding player.

I thought I was witnessing another defeat and it sure did look like it at 2-0 and we were going nowhere.
Then.... the first of the subs came on.......moura....he stopped some little thief who was trying make away with the match ball and it was a different kettle of fish from there on in.

Actually think Lucas did pretty well tonight, kept us flowing a lot, couple of good runs too. Kept the pressure on.
Passing wasn’t great and broke up a few chances when attacking with wayward passes, but did make some good runs to keep the pressure on. I think a solid 6 is fair.
