Here it is

From a scale of Romero :) ----to---- Sessegnon :( do your ratings and assessment

My opinion, Romero was my MOTM but the game changed when Kulusevski came on, also with a MOTM contender performance

Romero was obviously the best player overall, but Deki injected life to the team. Without him, we'd probably drop points. So I went for Kulusevski.

Romero 9
Son 8.5
Kulusevski, Bentancur 8
Everyone else 7
Apart from Moura and Winks 6

I thought Winks’ cameo showed how significantly worse he is than Bentancur. Their goal illustrated just how poor Wink’s is defensively, positioning, concentration, tackling.

Update, I’d forgotten how bad Moura was, same comment as above with regards to him and Kulusevski.

Romero MOTM
Deki a nice sub- he changed it in our favour
Son- 2 goals and an assist (sorry not my MOTM as we had a beast out there today!)
Kane- nice header- FROM A CORNER!
Hugo, Dier, Pierre, Benta, Davies- all good
Sess at least he tried to get forward
Royal- he got us 2 CORNERS! Ali Gold will be pleased
Lucas- was ok
Winks- gave away their goal! To be expected
Stevie b. nothing of note

TBH I really enjoyed that

Spot on
Kulu different class when he came on.
Dropping him gave him the kick up the arse he needed.
But kulu such an intelligent player
Leicester couldn't handle him.

3 standouts for me, so choosing man of the match was tough.
  • Romero for his entire performance.
  • Son for his goals.
  • Kulusevski for changing the match.
I dont have to post anything else. This is exactly what i would've posted. Well put, mate

A lot of 9's for Romero, but if that's not a 10 then I'm not sure what a defender can do to earn one. Unbelievable.

I think if Romero hadn’t been so driven today the rest of the team may not have performed so well; his all round performance was infectious… hence motm for me. In descending order from there: Sonny & Kulu next; followed by Peh & bentacur; Harry; Hugo, Davies, dier, royal, sess, Lucas. Subs no real positive impact so n/a.

Our defence looked really good. Romero obviously. That was a brilliant performance. Dier very. Davies ditto. I thought Emerson was pretty good, effective for once. Sess ok.

Hojbjerg I liked. Yes, he shows his technical limitations every match when he gets in the final third, but he was everywhere today. Bentacur good. It's so nice to have control in the middle again.

Kulu. Honestly, this guy is ridiculous. I don't think we've ever had a January signing who's made the difference he has. He is one of the cleverest players I can remember.

That second Son goal was a belter.

But it has to be Romero.

Son for me because goals win games but Romero was very good too.

Pretty incredible that in a match where Son scored a 25 yard curler and a tidy finish he's not even close to winning the MOTM poll to a centre back in a game where the opposition weren't even that threatening.

Still zero doubt in my mind that Romero was MOTM today. Special player.

Son obviously deserves massive credit for his goals, although Kulu really made his first with his incredible patience in waiting for the pass. You can't teach that composure, and Kulusevski is about as patient a player on the ball as I've seen in many a year at Spurs. Love that guy.

Kane clearly not at his best but huge goal. An in-form Kane scores the back-pass 1v1 and the snapshot at the end.

Lloris also deserving of massive plaudits for his amazing early fingertip save. Could've easily lost or drawn if we fell behind then.

Davies had a weird game - almost cost us a goal but sweet nutmug.

Dier did Dier things.

Both fullbacks much better than last week but still bang average.

Lucas dogshit. Shouldn't be anywhere near the first team going forward. Love his attitude but he's holding us back now.

Benny and Hoj both solid 6-7/10.

Romero was in beast mode.
Other two CBs, were good.
Fullbacks defended okay, but were a liability up the other end.
Our CMs we’re quietly effective.
Kane was average all game. Ponderous and lacked aggression. But nice header.
Lucas was the worst player on the field… including Leicester players.
Sonny was excellent when it mattered the most. And that goal… wow.
Kulu…. The difference in class between him and Lucas is as wide as the Grand Canyon.

Conte. Got lucky with his Lucas gamble. And I still feel it is patently absurd that Lucas is preferred to Stevie. Makes no sense at all. So I really wonder what is going on with Conte’s thought process with this decision.

We are going to have to play out of skins next weekend to even get a point. Hope everyone is up for it.
