Told you I had a good feeling about this!!
3 points plus clean sheet!

Good team effort but I would narrow down the MOTM to Aurier or Lloris but our captain gets my vote.

Don’t even know who to pick. You could choose basically anyone outside of probably the forwards

Lloris 8 MOTM saved the pen and aguero's with the studs

Aurier 7 -1 because of the pen but was great
Toby 7 solid
Sanchez 6 needs his pace but some nervy moments
Tanganga 8 solid

Winks 8 I've been a critic as him not being good enough to start but did a great job and turned the game with his run for a red
Lo Celso 8 so nice to have a CM who plays forward even if everything didn't come off

Alli 6 thought he was average
Moura 6 set up SB's goal but so wasteful otherwise particularly with his passing
SB 7 great goal kept quiet otherwise

Son 7 goal took him up from a 6, Walker had him marked

Ndombele 7 great assist
Dier 6 bsck passes as usual
Lamela 7 nice play in parts

Reflecting properly, it was a poor performance for 60 minutes with constant mistakes and cheap giveaways particularly from Dele/Son, not managing a single shot until then really isn't good. Lloris was brilliant, Tanganga is a phenomenal talent and looks everything we thought Foyth would be, Lo Celso is generally our best player now IMO, Ndombele excellent in his time on the pitch too.

Motm to Lloris because without the penalty save there's no chance we end up with a result. 4 points behind Chelsea now, COYS

Lloris MOTM. Kept us in it til the red card.

Massive performance from him.

Lo celso is getting so good! Good to see Son scoring again despite his performance. And another clean sheet always good to see as we'll need a lot of clean sheets in this run in to be able to get 4th

Welcome back skipper. Great perfromance from Lloris.
All of the back four were good. Sanchez has shaky moments but he is so important in a low block as he gets his head on everything.
Thought Aurier (penalty tackle aside!) and Tanganga both played very well.
Winks looked very sharp as the game went on, greta break for the game changing red card.
Thought our front 4 (Dele, Bergwijn, Son and Moura) were all pretty poor on the ball (on the rare occasions we did get it), but put a real shift in defensively - probably explains why when they did get into the final third they were not sharp.
Son was different after his goal and suddenly looked to have control of his feet again.
Thought all the subs played well, especially Lamela and Ndombele (want to see him start with Lo Celso).

Lloris for me. Keeps us in the game in the second half, and has an assuring presence at the back.

How the bloody hell are you guys giving Lloris MOM? Twice he nearly completely and utterly screwed us, once with the penalty that wasnt given (not by want of him trying) and the bonkers moment he clattered Tanganga and city fucked it up while he ran around on the edge of the area. Other than that he was good but those were two huge brainfarts that ordinarily would have cost us the game.
