Ndombele did well and showed much improved fitness. Gil kept going but lacks a killer instinct. The rest, either average or shite.

Can't vote for any of them, possibly the centre halves, whose job is made notoriously harder by the clowns either side of them .
Disappointed tin Gil tonight, thought it was a great chance to shine, but then the system does not encourage any type of attacking football.
nDombele unable to run after 70 minutes, nothing has changed and we need him even more due to our dire lack of creativity

Gollini - 4 - poor and superglued for his line on crosses

Doherty - 0 - poor bloke he’s just so bad

Tanganga - 5 okay but at times needed to have an experienced head next to him to lead him as he was lost in patches

Rodon see above

Davies 2 - don’t know how much longer I can deal with him

Skipp 6 - okay but again at times showed his in experience

Hojbjerg - 7 got us back organIzed and pushed more than any other player

N’dombele - 7 - yeh, done what tanguy does but we know the talent he has it’s just when it suits him is the problem

Bergwijn 2 - awful before getting injured

Moura - see above

Gil -4 tried hard but yeh that’s all

Kane 2 - dreadful touch was awful and just in general looked frustrated

Gollini 4 Silly mistake again, i dunno if its focus or lack of ability

Doherty -10 ****

Tanganga 5.5/6 did okay but no partnership with Rodon, but feel that more Rodon and hampers

Rodon 3 His focus seems poor, his lack of positional nouse is alarming, not much awareness of opposition players around him specifically when in the box

Davies 2 Exactly what i expected from him, which is not a lot

Skipp 4 He needs to step up, or its becoming more apparent he is not up to the level as we thought. I hope im wrong really had a lot of positive expectation from him but, he seems to go missing, no way near assertive and procative as he should be in the position he is playing , quite negative on the ball and seemed very laboured. I like him and pray its just bad form or something

Hojbjerg 7.5 I wish the players had half his desire and drive, we'd be so muc better off for it. Gave his heart tried to instill that into the other players, marshalled the players well and organIsing and tried to lead by example on the pitch, shame none of them really followed his example

N’dombele 7 Got to hand it too him, was our creativity driving force, b4 the formation change due to bergs off, he was instrumental and orchestrating and getting the team to tick couple with some great plays. He was really the only bright spark and only person you could see doing some magic for us

Bergwijn 2 - awful and poor, although very standard of him, didnt expect anything ore from him before getting injured

Moura 4 Wasnt one of his energy fueled games, but still atleast when he hadt he ball he drove forward and was the only one that seemed to get and beat his man, wasnt helped by the overall team play either

Gil 5 The lad pushed hard and put in a good shift overall for the team, didnt stop till the end either, not as creative as id hoped today, few things didnt come off however the lack of the overal team didnt help him.

Kane 4 Felt a bit sorry for him, it seemed obvious from the start he was not going to get much service, not alot he can do if the team aint able to create chances. Saying that he looked bit lack lustre, frustrated (i dont blame him for that)

SUBS

Scarlett 4
Emmerson 4.5/5
Dele n/a

Gollini 5 felt sorry for him as our defence didn't help but should do better, including their second

Doherty 3 so slow and ineffective, got lucky with the cross for Hojbjerg as all his crosses were terrible
Tanganga 5 should have got out quicker for their 1st
Rodon 5 the opposite of a commanding CB, concerning
Davies 5 so slow like Doherty, marginally better in all other areas though which isn't saying much

Skipp 5 not sure about him, needs to do more with the ball and not let their players make late runs into the box unmarked
Ndombele 7 brilliant flick and sometimes good but needs to be at 100% for 90 mins and control possession, a million miles off Dembele
Gil 6 flashes of quality and tried without any real marked positive impact going forwards

Bergwijn 5 looks slow and unable to beat his man
Kane 7 looked class but limited impact, improved effort
Moura 5 couldn't beat a man and when he can't there's nothing else to his game

Subs
Hojbjerg 8 MOTM made us more solid and scored but not the creative midfielder we need
Emerson 7 looked physical and decent on the ball but not a right winger?!
Scarlett 5 anonymous, needs to bulk up or be better with his runs in behind the defence
Alli 5 like he's running in treacle at times and overplays it

Nuno 5 I liked his starting line up that was more adventurous as his negativity cost us v Palace but it is getting concerning how little we create

Possibly the worst performance I've seen in a while

ndom motm - a player comfortable on the ball.
if rennies had been good at finishing then we would have got walloped, but they weren't and we got a good result and scored 2 lucky goals.
Nice stadium and loud fans, this was a good fixture and the sides well matched.

I surprised at all the praise for NDombele. Yes he was our most creative player but he merely flitted in and out of the game and again couldn’t last 90 minutes.
After the first 3 games I was quite pleased that although we weren’t scoring many goals we seem better drilled, organized and coherent as a team with a plan. Unfortunately the last two games all that’s gone out the window and we seem unable or unwilling to impose ourselves on the game. Does not look good for Sunday.

Went for Tanganga he is looking like a future captain to me. We need more leaders on the pitch he looks like he is turning into one.

Not surprised at all. He hasn't kicked a ball in anger until yesterday but immediately stood out as a potential game changer. He drifted out of the game when he was pushed forward when Bergwijn went off. I hope he starts at the weekend otherwise it will be more of the uninspiring stodge that has seen us bogged down in every other game so far.

1. you're surprised by the praise yet you agree he was our best player?
2. hasn't played a single minute of football in what, like 5 months? yet you don't understand why he didn't play the full 90.

It was his first minutes ever this season and the first you think about is that he can't hold for 90 minutes? Pisstake.

Gollini - 5 - could haddone better with the second goal, but given no chance with the first.

Doherty - 2 - how this guy was deemed more of an asset than serge, i've no idea.

Tanganga -5- looked nervous, needs a settled run in the same position. personally think he's better at rb.

Rodon-4- again same as japh, looked nervous & sometimes rash.

Davies-2- see doherty, how the pair of them are still playing for beggars belief, the guy had one of the worse 30 mins of footy against palace, and at one one point last night was captain! mind blown!

Skipp -5- early days still, think he could possibly do with a loan to a lower pl team in january if we manage to get more bodies in.

Hojbjerg -7- my fave player aside from sonny, just a warrior & always gives 100%.

N’dombele-7- ive been one of his biggest critics, but was good last night. ( but we know how good he is) just needs to do it more often & in the league.

Bergwijn -2- absolutely dreadful, at one point was a good 10 yards in front of his man, and stumbled over his own feet to allow him to catch up. just terrible.

Moura-4- was busy before he came off, but still not great.

Gil -5-
flashes of quality, like when he trapped the long ball from distance and darted into the box, in the second half. seen enough of him to know he'll be great when he's settled.

Kane-3- just a big ol' meh again. great flick to set up lucas for our first, then cant really remember him doing anything else? looks totally disinterested.

Scarlett-4- still young, think he needs a loan, don't think he's ready for our first team yet.
Emmerson-5-
did okay.

Yet Paratici fancies him as our second striker this season.
He did look very good last season, when he made a few appearances, but maybe that was just luck.
This season he looks his age, and we shouldn't interrupt his natural development, with unreasonable demands.
He should go on loan as soon as it is sensible.

As for the second striker, I'd try doherty up there. He'll cause chaos.
