If you look at Tanguy in open play, you will see that he consistently hits the ball with a halfway position between instep and side foot. The ball comes off at an oblique angle - which is exactly what he intends. Now look at the replays very carefully - you will see that this is exactly how he contacts the ball. This wasn't a mishit Im sure of that. Personaly I think this method of hitting the ball gives him the best of both worlds accuracy and power - and that is exactly what you see in his passing. Not sure why you have been panned with negatives for having your own opinion. I dont agree with you as I think Tanguy was motm, but Hojbjerg did put in another great shift. No doubt there. It'd getting a bit silly at times here as unless you tow the party line you can be sidelined.
Someone convince me that Tanguy meant his goal and not a cross. I'd love to think he meant it, but I'm on the fence and can't make my mind up. There were 2 running into the box at the time, so.i thought it was an intended cross.
Moura is worrying me, poor bloke looks really devoid of form. Is it positional or is it mental? We've all.seen what he is capable of.
Honorable mention to Rodon. Him and Tanganga could be one hell of a future partnership of developed properly.
