As is Xmas time, lets remember those players that should have been superstars at Spurs but it just didnt work out...

I open with a personal fav Stephane Dalmat....prob one of the most skillful two footed players I have ever seen at WHL...had an absolute rocket of a shot on him....made Robbie Savage look like a complete arse....BUT rarely played by Hoddle, hardly touched by Pleat, punched O Hara and got sent on his way...

Alton Thelwell. Was coming through the ranks and looked like a future star, but ended up being a future turd.

I always thought Reto Ziegler had a big future with us, great left peg and after spending years trying to find a replacement for Ginola (although a different type of player) I thought we finally had a decent one!

Not too sure, think he went to the Bundesliga but haven't heard anything amazing about him since he left. Sure he was at Wigan at some point wasn't he?
