Patience is all very well and good. But we have 2 weeks until the PL season starts and then others around europe/world start kicking in. It is not going to get easier to buy players from teams once the seasons start unless they don't want those players!

Not only that, but it take quite some time to get used to how we play. In many cases players take a year to get up to speed, with no pre season they will see minimal playing time before octoberish.

United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and even Everton get their key additions in the doors early to increase their chance of a good start in the league. Only we are happy sitting on the TV money and player sale money hoping so save some quid towards the end of the window.

If we at the very least had a full squad it would not be so bad, but with Rose, Son, Wanyama and Lamela all out or uncertain for the start of the season it look pretty grim.

Soon we will get a new ITK update claiming it's not our fault. It's simply every other club under the sun being completely unreasonable while we are very generous

Poch has turned down quite a few players by all accounts.

He was my favorite of the right backs we were linked with, hopefully we'll end up with Cancelo or Henrichs. If we wind up with a second-rate budget option after having known since April that we would sell Walker for an extortionate fee I'll be furious.
