And a questionA question about that and I will mention that I have no answer but I round the head so I can not resist sharing this opinion with all of you. He says: Is there any chance that Soldado already had a signed contract with Tottenham before going to the Confederations Cup and also Llorente word had already agreed a move to English club? To me, honestly, I smell so ... But my testimony, for practical purposes, it would have any validity at trial: I have no evidence.
note: Llorente is board member & exValeccia president and rumored to be one of the members trying to convince current president to take the Tottenham offer....

i don't believe we were ever that close to Benteke, I think the whole thing was fuelled by his agent for the contract extension. Fair play to them, they got it just right, no real backlash from fans, they feel better about the club because he chose them over us. Honestly don't think we were that involved in it.

Soldado has been different from start to nearly finish. Plus the interest and discussions last summer.
