Slagged us off saying Spurs "always let you down" and then Spurs fans for reacting to Walcott.

Wright joined in of course- fair enough he's a Gooner- Ledley said nothing.
Keene shouldn't be on TV-psychotic moron.

If there's one person in punditry you wouldn't expect to say something along the lines of "they shouldn't lose their temper", it's him. A player sent off more times than I've had hot meals. A manager that argued persistently with the media and he's telling Spurs fans they were out of order? Twat.

He's right about Spurs letting us down though. I'm 23, all I've experienced is pain and disappointment, even when we're good.

He's a Spurs fan though isn't he? So he's probably just saying what we all know is the truth anyway, or at least what has been

Keane followed Spurs as a young fella, and this isn't the first time he's used the old mantra of "typical Spurs, they'll always let you down". He's right and we know it. It's part of the culture of the club, even if those of us 'within' it like to be in denial about that most of the time.

Calls for him to not be on tv, like in the op, suggest he's not all that wrong about moronic fans either.

Roy's just winding some of the younger Spurs fans up - remember who we just beat at home.

To TBF to Roy he said it a little tongue in cheek, mocking an old Alan Hansen quote. Chiles afterwards made the point that he could say that as he was a Spurs fan as a kid. The fact that Chiles knew that suggests that Roy still mentions it to people after all these years and it must still mean something to him. As a final point I suspect that many of us have felt and said the same thing at one time or another about our club.

We praise Roy because he is a pundit that speaks his mind, then when he does, and it is about us, we all get pissy.
He also said this before, if i remember right it was the away game couple of years ago against Stevenage in the cup.

I'm glad he speaks his mind.

I didn't see the match or Keane's comments so not sure of the context, but how did Spurs let us down? By losing to a better team? Shit, man, we've lost to much worse teams than Arsenal in the past, and will in the future. And every club is the same - Arsenal have lost to teams they shouldve beaten, as has Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, etc.

So, exactly, how have spurs let us down?

But this was a NLD derby and we failed to show up. We were let down by individual errors and a lack of desire we left sheepishly with all our wool gone to make comfortable inner slippers.

The culture of the club is to always let you down? You clearly don't know the meaning of the term culture. I think part of our culture is being negative all the time. We always have ourselves a good old moan and as soon as we're on the receiving end of a result like this it's "typical Spurs". Funny how it's not "typical Spurs" when we actually win though.

Just because we're not at the top of the League or winning trophies it doesn't mean we're always disappointing. We've had many wonderful moments in my lifetime (29 years) and we should never forget those good times. Sure we've had our share of set backs as well but that's football. One moment you're winning at Old Trafford and the next you're losing the big derby in the FA Cup.

It's far better supporting Spurs than people give credit for. It could certainly be far far worse. We've been blessed with some truly wonderful players wearing our shirt. We've won more trophies than a lot of English teams. We've been in the Premier League since day one. Not every team can be number one but we should always be proud of the club we follow.
