...which is no surprise, as if God himself started on Sandro, Sandro would slide tackle him, kick the crap out of him and laugh while he trod his face into the dirt. Possibly

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...t-fear-real-madrid-claims-sandro-2250451.html

Tottenham midfielder Sandro is looking forward to the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid - and sees no reason why the north London side should fear the two-legged contest.

Spurs have already beaten Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan in reaching the last eight of Europe's premier club competition.

And the 22-year-old Brazilian, who joined the club from Internacional a little more than a year ago, is hoping the run can continue at the expense of Jose Mourinho's Spanish giants.

He told Sky Sports News: "It's a dream of mine, and any professional, to play against one of the biggest teams in the world - but we're going to go there without fear.

"We know they've got some of the best players in the world like Cristiano Ronaldo and Angel Di Maria - but at the same time we've got fantastic players and we wouldn't have progressed so far in competition if we didn't.

"People now know that Tottenham are one of the strongest teams in Europe, and we deserve to be up there playing against the best."

Tottenham travel to Madrid on April 5, with the return at White Hart Lane eight days later.

Sandro is our hero from green Brazil,
Any attacks of yours he is going to kill,
Robbing the ball from you for fun,
He's more effective than a maxim gun.

Not surprised. I have a feeling Sandro isn't afraid of much.

I heard a rumour Chuck Norris sleeps with his head under the covers now as he is scared that there is a Sandro in his wardrobe.

Great to hear and he's doing brillantly. One little bit of caution though, Madrid move the ball quicker than Milan...but still I expect our man to be on top of that

Sandro is quickly becoming everyones flavour of the month with his all action style play and comments of this nature and that's fine 'cause he's a great player and the best is yet to come.
R.M. are accustomed to playing in a two team league where the competition, apart from Barca, is just not that good and still they struggle in certain games............sounds familiar the last part, right ?
Yes, Mourinho is a master tactician but we have 'Arry and a very united team that plays for each other so although I expect the Bernabeau to be a little difficult I also expect that we finish the job off at W.H.L.

It just occurred to me that for Sandro, in his first season in Europe, to be playing against teams such as A.C. Milan and now Real Madrid really must be like a dream come true as so many players have to wait years and years for dreams like this to become reality !!!!!

To think he wasnt even in our Champions League squad to begin with! Now probably one of the first names on the teamsheet when we go to Real Madrid.

I agree with the fact that we shouldn't be scared of Madrid and I am a huge Sandro fan, think he is ace. But, and I know it is only natural given the nature of the match, there is a lot of talk about the Madrid game going on and I just hope we don't lose sight of the fact that our next game is actually Wigan.

Personally I am more scared of the Wigan game than the Madrid game.

I think Harry has managed him well by easing him into the team and not expecting him to be brilliant from the beginning, it takes time to settle and learn the way the team play for a young player from a different league.

More than that, remember when he showed up at the airport for the Switzerland flight and was told that he wasn't needed as he didn't make the CL squad?

I wonder if some British youngsters would have reacted to that so positively, knuckled down and proved that they were worthy. Or would they have had a tantrum, gone to the press and forced a move to another club, playing the victim.

Or maybe I don't wonder at all.
