I guess it's also because they seem quite new.
It's fun to watch the youngsters progress and get excited about who may be the next star, so that makes keeping an eye on the youngsters enjoyable for me.

I'll admit that it took a while for me to get into women's football but now that the standard has improved so much, it's a much better watch than it used to be.

I hear what you say about the first team though and it's hard to let too many Spurs teams in to break your heart, which they all will eventually! 🤣

A fellow fan in the pub started talking at me during halftime, after his anti ENIC, Levy, Ange, current tactics rant he finished up with "and the women's team have been holding the men's team back"... 🤷

Haha, that's some amazing reasoning going on there!

You do get some right ones in the pub. I had one bloke trying to drunkenly talk at me throughout an entire half while I was politely trying to ignore him and just watch the game.
I sometimes think that I'd rather watch the game at home, on my phone, than have to put up with some of the local cal idiots!

Tottenham Hotspur are letting go five of the club’s longest serving scouts as part of the ongoing restructuring of their football staff.
Ian Broomfield, Augusto Benito and Colin Jackson are all leaving as part of Tottenham’s transformation of their scouting team.
The move is part of a complete review of football operations dating back to the arrival of chief football officer Scott Munn in September 2023. Tottenham then appointed Johan Lange as technical director in October 2023, with Rob Mackenzie following as Tottenham’s new chief scout.
Broomfield was Tottenham chief scout back in the Harry Redknapp era, before leaving in January 2013. Broomfield then returned to the club as a senior scout, a position he has held for years.
Benito was in charge of scouting Spain and Portugal while Jackson scouted first-team and youth players in the north of England.
Tika Musonda, a senior scout who joined from Chelsea in 2022, and Dave Butler are also set to exit.
“The review of our football operations continues and involves the restructuring of a number of departments”, said a Tottenham spokesperson.
