I’m actually that fed up of the whole setup and how levy operates the football side that I don’t care even if I don’t get them back now, but when your paying for 4 upfront they always find a way .. levy has sucked the life out of me, I used to sit right behind sugar in the hood old whl days..

I give mine to my son every year for his birthday and Xmas present. He has said, don't bother anymore. He still asked for the value in money tho! Cheeky git. Will renew for 1 more year, if no change this term, that's it.

Genuine question, which may be the same for a lot of us: I don't know your personal setup at games but if the on the pitch action does not factor it in (which I totally get) is it not possible for you to recreate what it is that you go for outside of spurs? For example, if you go with mates then can't you just see them away from the ground? Otherwise, drinks aside, you are essentially paying to go out with your mates, when you could go to the pub with them for free!

No sorry I mean that us being good or bad doesn’t have any influence on me wanting to keep my Season Ticket. I still want to watch the team.

If the day itself including being in the ground becomes less appealing then yeah, I wouldn’t see much point in going.

Done the deed - 3.6k hit on credit card for me and sons not really sure why, its just in the blood I suppose.
Despite the football we occupied those seats every home league game - went elsewhere in ground for cups and Europe.
There were few games though that we actually enjoyed and it's getting harder to justify the trek and expense.
Been a supporter long enough to know that being a Spurs fan isn't just about the glory, it's also about the enjoyment and camaraderie with others but the football on show and the atmosphere in the new ground have both generally been awful.
I long for the days when we just used to be able to turn up, have a few jars at the Anywerp and then stroll down and pay on the day to stand on the shelf instead of buying a season ticket and paying large sums up front. Then you had a choice, you knew what you were letting yourself in for, but today we have no idea. No manager, no DoF and no style on the pitch.
Oh the joys to look forward to .....

Your gonna be waiting a long time, even after he goes, took me 11years to get off the waiting list.

A while back that was the case, but people or on the waiting list now just for the priority window. I was offered a season ticket last year and I was at the very back of the queue (having just given up my season ticket).

This thing about there being a huge waiting list and that you have to wait years to get offered a season ticket is false. Even during the heights of the Poch era I knew of people who got offered season tickets despite being 'way down' the queue. My young daughter at the time who was on the One hotspur plus and despite only being a member for max 2 years got offered one (and I think she was suppose to be at around 40k+ in the queue)!

They put all the one Hotspur members on the list whether they have asked to be or not. It sounds good to have thousands waiting but it’s far from the truth.

Sneaky fucks tried to take payments for my 2 Hotspur memberships despite me cancelling them. Emails sent but poor form from them. Hope others didn't get caught. Mine was paid for by revolut which I don't tend to keep cash on so least I don't have to look for a refund.

The more we hear of things like this, the less I feel connected to the club.
I don't know if It's poor form, incompetance or both.
Either way in these times it leaves a nasty taste.

Before the stadium move the waiting list was a real thing (speaking as somebody stuck on it for 15 years) but since doubling the number of season tickets available the waiting list barely even exists anymore.

Even people sitting at 40k (as people have said) are still offered a ST as those above either can’t attend every match or just want the membership to get early access to the occasional games.

Think main reason people renew rather than drop out and get another one in a later season is that they like where they sit and who they sit with. I've tried other sections for cup games and European matches and always end up being stuck next to some aggressive coke-head who spends the whole game slagging off our players and calling the ref a ****

You’re right, I sit with some of the same people since 1999 when I first got a ST. We moved together into new stadium and also met some lovely new people where we are now. If I dropped my ST who knows who I’d be next to and if I could get a concession. Important as I go on my own.

They've actually improved the package this year.

£20 store voucher which is a fiver more than last season, plus a £15 experience voucher and £10 SpursPlay voucher.

Looks like we'll also be given a priority window for third party events going forward as well, plus use of a One Hotspur Members Lounge for gigs etc.

Not sure if this year will be the same but you have to use the voucher online and pay the postage charge. Last season not by design more by accident I found that just before christmas the shop was offering free postage and I hadn't used my voucher, decided to use it on the Stadium Monopoly normally £35 so got £15 off , not a bad buy for £20 with no postage charge.
