I had a look at the sales pattern today, as I'm in Phase 4 and we start Wednesday morning. I used to be in Block G, East Upper, level with the edge of the penalty area (great for offsides...) and I'd hoped to replicate my position in the new place, but I'm struck by the fact that the blocks I want (528 or 529) have largely sold, except for the back rows, whereas the corresponding blocks at the north end of the East Upper, 523 & 524, have loads of free seats.
The only difference I can detect is that 528 & 529 are near the Park Lane (Kop) noise - which is one reason why I originally chose to sit there. It looks as if I'll either have to pay a hell of a lot more money to sit in block 527 (if there are seats left) or move to the northern part of the Shelf.
Has anyone got any other explanation for the disparity in sales between blocks 528/529 and blocks 523/524?
It could also be because you are near the away supporters end.
