Will be very interesting if we can find out how many of the 42000 didn't renew. Find it hard to believe it would be more than 5000
Club have said 95% renewed. Not sure if I believe the spin.

94% renewed last season so I’d be surprised if it’s much worse than that. Nearly everyone has their credit from the season before last so most would just use that as a buffer before potentially cancelling next season.

I do find it really strange that a lot of people on here have some sort of obsession with hoping we have loads of non-renewals

I think people just are so mad they dont want to see money going into the club. It’s a personal choice. I see it both ways. I understand alot of fans dream about season tickets and are dying to follow the club everywhere. I respect that & in a way, I greatly envy & agree with the stance. If I lived across the pond(something I do want to do one day), I’d probably sign up for fhe wait list myself. I also understand the school of thought we’re so angry, we dont want to spend the money on them & if money stops flowing into their pockets, they’d be more apt to sell or change their ways so the value of the club dorsnt diminish(even though it has on their own doing now). I also agree with this. If you’re so angry, why waste the money on Spurs when you can find uses for it elsewhere?

I agree, but I’m hoping the moaning gits who sit behind me haven’t!

Quite impressive renewal rate to be honest, and it does bear out the large loyal fan base the club undoubtedly has.
One thing I am not looking forward to are the lunatics jumping around in their seats with purple faces at the first misplaced pass - there is one in every block.
I do sometimes miss the old crew I sat near in the old Paxton.

The system has some bugs in it for sure. I've had a ST for 10 years or so and I have been offered the chance to buy one twice in the last two weeks. I keep shitting myself that the renewal didnt work (as I sit in a group) but the members office always reassure me its fine and I should just ignore. Doesnt place loads of confidence in the system though!

I was Block 22, Row 18, I had a good bunch around me, it was like a second family.

i miss my season ticket. My last one was last season WHL and was truly great...the bloke who sat next to me was a madman though - used to get all the songs wrong - Give to Berbatov, Jermaine Defoe Yi i i ido...etc ...halcyon days

Considering the financial climate for many people & all the doom and gloom on these pages , that is a pretty impressive ST renewal rate . With fans returning spending on food and drinking bucket loads of beer at the stadium hope it gives Levy & co the confidence to get behind Nuno in the transfer market.

The 95% includes defferals (which I'd imagine are quite high).

I've renewed but if I'd decided not to then I would have differed as it still gives the opportunity to change your mind next season without joining the back of the queue.

When the ground opened there were 42k season tickets. 5% not renewed ....2100 to sell plus the extra 2.5k released That’s 4600 available.
Should get well down the list with that.

Deferrals are quite hard to action to be honest - there needs to be a real need to do so and a letter from the NHS to back it up.

Ah that's good, I didn't know that side. Makes the 95% a bit more impressive.

Guess we all really are just easily mugged off

Not far from you then - I was block 19 row 18. That seat is etched in my memory like a service number. One of the posters on this site had the misfortune of being sat right behind me for a number of years, but they were a good bunch generally, and we did have some laughs!.

Does anyone know if the club are still working down the list? Any texts/emails today? Thanks in advance!

We used to have a couple of guys, they were like the odd couple, who had seats next to me and my son when he wasn't much more than a kid, the older guy was about my age and quite conservative looking and the other guy was half his age and more casual. We never got to the bottom of how they came to be mates but they always turned up late and shitfaced. One particular day the older guy turned up and I've never seen anybody more drunk who was able to function, he was as grey as fuck too. Anyway, he found his seat and promptly passed out, I swapped with my son because I was genuinely concerned the grey bloke was about to snuff it and you don't need a kid being next to that. About an hour later and with surprisingly unpissed trousers the grey man got his second wind and resumed a semblance of normality, his mate never even made it to his seat.
