Just got this email from the club

We are pleased to confirm Season Ticket Holders and all One Hotspur Members are now able to purchase up to 4 additional tickets for friends and family, to our UEFA Champions League group game against Olympique de Marseille on Wednesday 7 September.

Marseille gone to guest sale , there were an awful lot of of seats available for the members sale today so looks like members haven't taken up the surplus.
Champions League matches with lesser teams like Marseille do not have the selling power of some of the bigger names in Europe.

Agree there’s a surprising amount of empty seats. The fact that people only got 9 days notice isn’t ideal - Lots of people (me included) would have had plans they couldn’t move.

What surprises me is fans being on the automatic cup ticket scheme . I know you get bonus loyalty points but not knowing if the game is a Tues or Weds seems bit of a gamble to me when as a ST holder your guaranteed your seat anyway if you want it and there is no TE so if you can't go, officially you can't pass your ticket on.
Agree the very short notice must have been a problem for many , anyway chance for non-members to chip in to help club finances.

The only reason I joined as you get the extra points. Whether it will make a difference after 5 years for away games remains to be seen. Although you can probably miss the odd game and not be down financially, as you don’t pay a booking fee.

Why can't I, as a Season ticket holder, get access to the ticket availibility for the Leicester game?

We've actually put our tickets up for sale (because we can't go) - but IF I was looking to buy a ticket how would I go about it? The system says I don't have eligibility?

I think you can only get access if the match goes to general or guest sale.
I wanted to look for one game to see how many ST were on exchange to decide it it was worth trying to sell mine and I couldn’t look either??‍♀️

It's always been like that , it's only available to members not ST's until guest/general sale. Club thinking is probably why would you want to buy a ticket for a game where you have put your own ticket up for sale.:)

The issue I've found is that I have a Season ticket but have friends/family who I occasionally want to to go to the game with instead. So the obvious way is to to on sell the season ticket and buy General tickets together when available. But I can't do that apparently. (n)

As far as I remember no PL game has ever gone to general sale so it wouldn't be possible to buy a group of tickets after you have sold your ST, the only sure way to get tickets is for your friends/family to become members.
Cup games are different as ones against lower division clubs have often gone to general sale.

PS If you read F&Q's on the website, games will only go to guest sale if a game has not sold out to One Hotspur Members , so far this season and I think last season every game has sold out so the only way to obtain tickets for PL games is to become a member and purchase on TE .
Problem is that TE is only available to members and not ST holders so you are back to square one , membership is the only solution.

I'm curious, for people with season tickets who don't go every game, how easily does it sell on the exchange?

Do you end up on losing out on a lot when you miss games or is it more or less covered?

Completely depends how the team is doing. Right now it's pretty easy, back in the Jose/Nuno era they mostly didn't sell. Having two next to each other also helps massively.

I have two ST’s, go to about 9 games a season and will be many more in my retirement, as I spend more time in my native country, the answer to your question is I have sold my tickets instantly on the exchange when needed this season, I always want my seats occupied.

Sold my season ticket for the Wolves and Leicester games even though there was a train strike within 30 mins of posting them. Didn’t manage to sell any last year until the very end.

I suppose it depends on location and having two or three together. I've listed mine four or five times - usually for decent games - and not once sold it.

Possibly, last year I was quite high up, now I’m in south standing section. Although if it was a big game it wouldn’t bother me not sitting by family/friends, I would just want a ticket.

Does anyone know if champions league tickets are included in the season ticket pass? I thought they weren’t and was going to purchase them for Frankfurt but it says my next game is Frankfurt? No options to buy them?

The ticket office reserves your ticket for Champions League matches but as a Silver holder they release it unless I wish to purchase. What level season ticket holder are you because some do have it included I believe.
