I'm sure the thinking is that they have looked after the Hardcore loyal supporters (Season ticket holders) and will recoup the losses from the casual supporter.

I think that is fair enough.

We all want the signings and all that that entails, we also have a stadium debt to service and money doesn't grow on trees.

If I don't want to pay the prices they demand then I can choose not to go, just another stick for the ENIC Out mob to exploit without recourse to any kind of reality.

P.S Tescos, Sainsburys and others food prices have gone up over 20% while making record profits don't hear a dickie bird about that.

One of only 3 teams to freeze ST prices. I think slight increase in general ticket prices in this climate where prices for everything are going up is overall acceptable.

Ok, thanks Daniel

Look, I know Joes yacht and art collection doesn’t pay for itself but in these difficult times could you please ask him to take a little more of the strain

Thanks Daniel jokes or comments to any semblance of a balanced opinion are fucking boring now and that’s coming from me who’s been slating him big time for the last 3 years. Other opinions are allowed at times as well.

Cat A pricing is ridiculous, I am a ST holder so won’t affect me but makes me angry. I would always pay it for a Cl game against Barca, Real etc as it’s novel. I think I would take it or leave it for the cat A league games we play them twice a year. Let’s be honest we’re not getting relegated, neither are the other top 6.
Also have been to Wimbledon this week £75 for a whole day’s entertainment great value for money. The major difference is it’s once a year so happy to pay it regardless, we could easily play 60 games in a season (with Europe).

Yea the pricing generally of our matches and football matches is too high. As you say you can get a Wimbledon ticket 🎫 for a whole day’s entertainment for same price as seeing us lose 3-0 to arsenal in 90 mins🤣😅

As an American I look at these prices and can't believe how low the price of tickets is. Meaningless games in major sports are over $100 a game over here. We sell MLS tickets that are more expensive than these prices.

Not trying to offend anyone, but I've never looked at single match pricing as I haven't been able to cross the pond for a match yet.
I hope you make it to a game, live, soon.

Even with all the moans and groans about Cat A prices , all 6 matches will sell out regardless, the club know it and the fans will turn up.

But that’s comparing apples and oranges. If you’re going to put it on the scale of ‘a whole days entertainment’ - how much is a day at happy potter world, Alton towers, another London PL club, a few hours at the theatre, someone go and look at the prices for Wimbledon and having to sleep out overnight for tickets. Jesus Christ!!!

I could go and spend an afternoon at my local National League side for £15 a ticket. But it’s not the same thing, is it!!

It is the same thing to someone who’s gone to that national league side their whole life

Our beautiful game along with many other sports have been hijacked by media moguls and billionaires etc & we’re the poor sods always having to pay the price!!

Don't completely disagree but that's not guaranteed anymore mate. The fact that season tickets are still available shows how disillusioned alot of fans are. Yea people moan and give out on here / social media but they usually do nothing about it and just renew their tickets but that has changed for a lot of people. If they feel strongly enough to give up a ST then not a big jump to say they won't buy a membership and individual tickets.
Then there's the casual footie fan / tourist argument. Stadium wasn't full in 2nd half of last season which shows how fickle that market is, shit football and atmosphere means they are less likely to turn up. Add to that a 20% hike in prices and it makes it less appealing.

While I'm not naïve enough to think we won't get sold out stadium next season, a lot of the things we took for granted e.g. waiting list for ST, fans just swallowing the shit treatment from Enic etc have been shown as not true anymore.

going to be an interesting few years to see how this all plays out.

You won't be able to tell the attendance from official figures as Spurs last season started showing the attendance as seats sold and not seats occupied as in previous seasons , other clubs do the same.
Just compare last season to the season before on this website.

Yea it's a shame they've gone that way but we'll know if it's sold out or not. Last game i was at last season was hammers where it was obvious there was a lot of empty seats around the ground. Got even worse after that where there were so many tickets available on ticket exchange. We might not have the exact figures again but we'll know if it's sold out or the same as last season.

I'm sorry to call this out but some of the defending of this greedy billionaire who would only piss on you if you were on fire if he could charge for it and have an admin fee blows my mind.

No wonder we never achieve anything when so many just defend everything he does.

Yep you can choose not to go, you're right, just like many others choose not to go. Except it's not quite that simple is it? We don't choose to support this club, well most of us don't. It's been ingrained in us from a young age, a lifelong passion. One that many of us have been priced out of going due to the sheer greed by people like the ones so many defend.

He said it himself. He is a custodian, it isn't his club. I was here well before he found this investment opportunity and I'll be here way after he has gone unless I die. But my son who is everything to me will likely not get to share the joy I did of seeing Tottenham play because I can't justify spending that huge amount of our family free money budget on it.

And yeah they can replace us with tourists for now and those of you inclined to do so can defend it but don't moan about the atmosphere, don't moan about local people not caring about the club, don't moan when people boo because the stadium is populated with people who are there for a day out as opposed to people who love the club .

I swear this man could sell the Hotspur part of our name and some of you would defend it and claim it's the only way we could possibly afford to sign a player.

What price is fair in your opinion?

I don't have one in mind.

What I'd like to see and it probably isn't legally possible is a regulator to ensure that a percentage of the ground fits a maximum price cap which includes plenty of concessions and in those concessions I'd include a category for local people (I'm no longer local so it's not for my benefit). I read earlier from Paul o keefe they have got rid of all concessions for cat A games. That's just wrong.

They have have the corporate boxes but there should also be plenty of opportunities for families who aren't loaded to go.

Just for clarification this price rise is nothing to them. They're doing it because they can. And it doesn't effect me because I was priced out a long time ago but I want my football club to be a community that cares about it's people. They aren't signing top players whether they add this on or not so it's not even about the football although it is unarguable that if you're looking it from a corporate pov the product versus the price they have is way way off balance.

We were the highest before and we will still be right up there. Why? Were nowhere near the best. We don't try and be the best, were based in one of the poorest boroughs in London that's rife with poverty. The only reason they charge these prices is because they can and this fanbase either just accepts it or even more oddly defends them .

Football has changed I get it but that doesn't mean we have to sit back and watch or even defend their sheer greed.

I don't wanna get in a big debate about this as the cricket is amazing and I have loads to do but I'll say this one last thing (sorry I know I go on) . London clubs , especially the big three have been taking the absolute piss out of their fans for years with this. A season ticket at spurs is two months on my mortgage, well almost. So it's not a lack of loyalty as to why I don't go as in sure you can imagine. I don't want the next generation of kids to never see our club unless their from an upper middle class background. I want it to find the balance and represent people of all classes and they can because the vast bulk revenue is from TV not ticket prices.

Of course you are right. The club are doing lots for the local community but I know Tottenham and Edmonton well - not many new fans are going to come from the local neighbourhoods at the current price level. Not one of my group of Spurs fans lives anywhere near the stadium and we’re all comfortably off in good jobs - I think that’s pretty typical, and we’ll pay the price for the ticket, but we won’t be there forever.
