Some rumours that they have done it with the view that the FAB are meeting and then on the back of that meeting they will lower them again. Basically using it to show that the FAB can be an effective tool. I don’t believe it for a second but one to watch.
But they haven't actually raised ST prices have they just general sale match prices? That is what I'm trying to understand.
Not good either way though.

Believe Senior Citizen is being phased out , senior citizen membership is no longer available there is only adult or junior Hotspur membership.
Current senior citizen ST's & memberships are still renewable but if given up and then you decide to apply again in say a couple of years for a ST or membership I don't think concession rates would be available to you.
There won’t be concession tickets available for cup games this season.
With regards season tickets, the club told me that they are keeping the balance of ticket types around the stadium and that concessions are linked to a seat, not a person. Anyone reaching pension age won’t be able to get a reduced price in their current seat. I am 66 but will have to move away from my friends if I want a concession (and that’s only if there is an alternative seat available). I still haven’t had an answer from the club about what happens if a senior gives up their seat (does that seat stay a concession?) or what happens when a junior becomes an adult (do they have to move to an ‘adult’ seat to allow a junior to have that seat?)
I am thinking about an information request to find out how many concession season tickets there were last year and where they were, and a comparison with this season.

i really didn’t know that. I was half not renew and go for membership so sounds wise not to have done and kept my ST👍

Just as well you renewed, I think It was changed about a year ago , THST did ask head of ticketing about the decision but I can't find the news letter on their website .
It doesn't effect current SC's as long as you keep renewing, as you can see on the membership pages no mention of Senior Citizen prices.

i get all the Trusts newsletter and I found the one from June/July last year. After rereading it I do actually remember reading about the end of senior membership for new members but as I had my ST it didn’t really sink in as didn’t affect me. Though I remember being annoyed at no reduction for home cup games, though I did get a reduction for the CL games🤷🏼‍♀️.
They obviously aren’t that bothered about their senior supporters🥺

That's because us "Seniors " spend very little, if anything, when we go to a game. Certainly not on naff stuff in the megastore

You mean when they take loads away for some arbitrary reason and fail to give a clear explanation as to why? Pretty soon I think.
Looks like they were updated yesterday , my total dropped by about 40 points , no idea how they work it out.
They take off the points you got from the 17/18 season I think.
Correct, this is from the Ask Spurs web site:

Our ticketing point (previously loyalty point) system runs on a rolling five-year basis. At any given time, a supporter's points total consists of the number of points they have accrued over the most recent four seasons as well as the current campaign. The only exception to this rule comes when One Hotspur + members upgrade to season tickets, at which point their totals are reset as standard.

During our most recent points review, all points associated from the 2017/18 season were removed from supporters' accounts. Please also note that points for the 2020/21 season are not included as supporters could not accrue points as normal that season.

As of the 2023/24 season, points from the following seasons remain active:
  • 2018-2019
  • 2019-2020
  • 2021-2022
  • 2022-2023
  • 2023-2024

Looks to me like they’ve lost about 4K legacy supporters this summer

Were about 20k with 200+ points. Now only 15k

Year on year that makes a hell of a difference to the atmosphere especially when you’re not winning or anywhere near challenging!

Even more food/drink sales & people posting on their iPhones/iPads this season which is good because the wifi is exceptional

It’s not that simple, if you had a ST at Wembley you would have lost a lot of points as there was points for home games. Dosent necessarily mean the legacy fans have quit.

For those looking to get away tickets there are 2446 fans with 350 or more points so the threshold is going to be pretty high again for most matches.
