semi and final tickets

Without tempting fate, does a season ticket still guarantee a semi and final seat? I enjoyed the benefit in the past, but
(a) That was a while back, when we had fewer st holders....and
(b) We have not been to an FA Cup Final or Semi at the new Wembley.

Does anybody know how many ST holders we have, and what the allocation is?

I hope we are not gonna have the panicky loyalty point cutoff thread again - or at least I hope those of us with ST's can just watch in a state of amused smugness.

Don't know how true this is but I did hear from someone before that if you have purchased a ticket for the Semi-final then you are not allowed to purchase one for the final, visa versa. Anyone can share some light on that?

Well ive been to Wembley twice in the last two years on a ST, so i hope that covers the Semi and Final if we are fortunate enough to get there.

Although i remember hearing something about fans being allocated less seats for the FA cup than the Carling cup (Corprate bastards!). So im not sure..

if you check the f.a website we would get 32.000 tickets for the semi... portsmouth will not sell that amount!!!..
as for any final.. chavs last year got 21.000

Did my own bit of research - Everton whinged last year because the allocation was 25000 per club. We have just under 24000 ST holders so it depends how the club split that allocation - I suppose it would be naive to suggest that the whole 25000 of Spurs allocation should actually be distributed to the regular fans who stump up a sizeable wedge each year, in advance, only to see a well loved Dutch hero swapped for a Spanish numpty.
I'll get over it one day. I expect.

EDIT: All theoretical of course, I'm not forgetting we still have 2 tough games to play before it becoes a real life issue.

Don't forget to take out the tickets that spurs will allocate to corporate hospitality, players and club officials etc.

If the numbers are correct ST holders would be fine for the semi final and may be okay for the final depending on how many tickets they give to youth team players to flog on ebay

If we do get to the final Chas and Dav have a song in the vault so maybe they'll reform for one last time

32k for the semi final is a joke, that means 26k for who? Almost makes you want Fulham to get there, Wembley is a few more miles away than we are and they only bring a few hundred to WHL.

I've already got 5 tickets sorted for the semi, providing we get past Fulham, if it's Fulham, my other mate gets the 5 tickets.
