Very logical if Conte sees Skipp as a starter, then we need to find one "squad player" and a more creative starter alongside ( that does not make an Instagram post when not selected, or throws bottles around the training ground if he gets a tackle ) So I can see Amrabat would be the squad player and Kessie, Veretout could be options for starting position and we have to remember to not sign players that hinder the way of PM Sarr as well, witch 2 top quality midfielders would do

We need numbers in midfield if Alli, Ndombele and Locelso are deemed surplus. However I'd prefer to give Harvey White some minutes than bring in Amrabat. Can't imagine this is the signing Conte has identified as someone who will make a difference in midfield. These are the type or signings we've made in the past as stop gaps that have failed and then been really hard to shift.

Just hope this is option z on the list Fabio's working on.
