In my only experience of watching this lad; against the titans of Malawi, he has made Sissoko look like Socrates.

People losing their minds over a short term loan? Very little risk involved with this. The greater risk would be not making signings for Conte and having him walk. Especially ones that are attainable like this guy that Conte has specifically asked for. Again, our world-class manager is asking for this player. Trust him and trust the process.

People were clearly aggravated because this morning we got the news of just this, found out vlahovic was going to juve, traore was stalling. We didn't have any idea of who he was or if conte liked him. We saw that he was a a bench warmer and had no context to why.

We also had no knowledge of any Diaz bid or anything, everything looked bleak and just a repetition of previous windows. It is/was completely understandable as we have been hurt so many times before. If we get other players in that actually look like we show ambition then getting this guy will be looked at in a different light

Never heard of this guy until today, watching the AFCON to see what he's like. Much like what others have said, not really impressed, but what is standing out is how uncomfortable he looks on the ball. If he's rattled playing against Malawi in a half empty stadium in Cameroon, he'd have no chance in the PL.

He’s cheap as chips, he isn’t going to be any good.

And he isn't.

He’s going to add nothing to our midfield but numbers. Maybe Conte feels he can get a tune out of him? Doubt it though, it’s just desperation as we can’t get out preferred targets.

It’s it’s a shame we can’t add to our CM when top 4 is within reach. It’s going to cost us yet again.

Jesus watching him there and he moves like a poor mans Stefan Fruend, no where near good enough or athletic enough for the premier league

Right there is our answer. He'll fit right in.

And that glass is still half empty isn’t it ??

The guy hasn’t signed or kicked a ball.

Conte might actually want him and rate him

It might enable our budget to go further on a RWB and AM this Jan which conte sees as more important as he probably thinks we have just about enough in CM to tide us over especially as we are out of Europe and Carabao so won’t be tons of rotation

The window hasn’t finished yet

You don’t know what whole plan and who we have or haven’t been going for.

I know you and others want the best for the club but fuck me not everything has to be seen in such a negative OTT manner, how do you live like that.

Let’s see how it all pans out.

As I’ve said a million times, FP&AC will have a plan for Jan and summer, Conte knows Jan is very difficult to sign good players and he will be aware of what is realistic. If we can move on some of the big earners and bring 2 in then we should have enough to just about get top 4, especially once Son, Romero etc come back from injury and then we can really attack the summer transfer window.

Chin up and up the Spurs.

No, this guy just doesn't stand out at all. Sissoko had attributes like work rate and he was effective at starting counter attacks. In a game between two average teams, he's one of the most average players on the pitch. Doesn't matter if this guy is free, surely we have a handful of players in the U23's who are better.
