I wonder if we have legally binding 'get out/keep here' clauses in our contract - I suspect Ramos is worth more than even Berbatov - and would like to see us get at least £30m if someone like Barca nick him

Might be bs , but I think the concept of Ramos leaving us is off many people's radar .

He's not a long stayer in general , but I'd be well gutted if he went this season (which I don't expect)

What goes around comes around .

Can't expect any loyalty from Ramos or Chimbonda after the way we destabilised their relationships with their previous clubs .

Yeah thats right.

Coz we made chimbonda hand a transfer request in on the last day of the season.

We made Ramos come too, tied him up, chucked him on a plane, drugged him to sign the contract and we are holding him prisoner now at the lane.

Ah, the glass is only ever half full when u think about spurs my friend, always griping against the club.

his contract worth of 20-22m .. who would love to pay that amount of money in compansation for other club to get their manager ? let alone his personals demands

Barcelona?

But no club has ever paid a "transfer fee" of £20 million for a manager/coach. Ramos' huge salary and the length of his contract makes him near unpoachable.

If Barca really want him, then they can give us Xavi and Puyol instead of cash. And then we can hire Mourinho or Rijkaard off the street....

Mourinho is out there on the open market, no hassle no compensation, why try for Ramos. I agree if we take off next season, more and more of these rumours, threats and just blind speculation will surface.

How dare they try and steal our manager. It's not like we did it to Sevilla is it? Where has the game's morals gone?

It'll all be OK, we can get Jol back.

there is no chance he will stay for less than a minimum of 3 years. hopefully he'll stay till he dies 99 yo and after winning 38 titles with spurs.

99 years old and 38 titles? Which means there will be at least 8 seasons in which we don't win the league?

RAMOS OUT!

can't believe some are getting there knickers in a right old tizzy. I doubt it's true, even if it were true, he may not want to go. He has gone on record as saying his dream was to manage in the EPL. he's on great money, the fans love him, he's doing great with us and will only get better. Managers generally don't move around as much as players, at least there seems to be more loyalty. i'm sure some out there can write me a list of managers who have moved around, but i did say generally. There's something about our club that many players and managers fall in love with, look at keano, a journyman if ever there was, he would never leave the club now.

So are you saying that, if a top club offered Keane double his current wages and first team football, he wouldnt leave Spurs?
I reckon he would......just like Teddy, Judas, Carrick, Defoe, etc!

Make it £50 billion, buy the whole world, and then get bored when we have no one left to play against.
